Reading a long document can be a headache, but that's the least you can do to check whether what was written on it, quite realistic.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Reading white papers is an important part of any crypto investment. You have to know the project well before putting money in it. For me its the most part of the research because it will make you understand the value and the potential of the project. Dont just listen to people, reading WP is a big part of doing his own research.

Yes that is true that reading ICO's whitepapers will help you understand a specific ICO. It is also very substantial for all of us identify whether an ICO is a good project or not.

not everyone reads it. sometimes they just see the rating of ico.
actually there are many aspects that must be read on ico. but that's a lot, for example the ico project, road map, whitepaper, and more. and I think some people don't want to spend their time reading that. so at the end of the period, many assumptions of ico were scam, even though based on the road map, they were working properly.

This is the one of the smartest thing to do when you want to invest or participate on one newly created project. Cause everything you do is finding a facts on it and understand the whole project if worth it and in demand on this current time as well. Why? because the white paper is the blue print of the project, so put effort to read on this.

indeed before participating a certain ico or bounty campaign reading the whitepaper is important, because in the whitepaper there is important information about the ico or bounty, but the strings are also lazy to read them, because usually the whitepaper has very many pages, so I usually just read the important parts, or sometimes I don't read whitepaper at all.

yes, spending time for analizing one project is good but if you are thinking to invest. Whiterpaper is not a good basis whether the team have real idea about the product or just a scam project. There are a lot of cases of scamand those had show its whitepaper with nice idea and full detailed plan. Then after, just come on point they run the raised funds

In my opinion this is very important for everyone who wants to invest in coins that we will choose by reading the white book on the project, find out more about the future goals of the project. This information can also be found on websites or even project blogs or announcement channels their telegram.

Reading whitepaper spends a long time especially to understand the contents of the whitepaper, that sometimes makes people not to read whitepapers, but behind it all by reading whitepapers we can get more detailed information about blockchain and projects that we will follow, many useful knowledge on whitepaper.

reading whitepapers is a great source of information for new people to the cryptospace, alot of these concepts seem very not needed sometimes I recommend you new folks to read Mybit whitepaper it will definetely open your eyes to a few pockets of the blockchains usage with certain sectors of the cryptosphere.
Anybody else has a couple of informative whitepapers, that opened your eyes to a certain technology or undervalued market or just good information?
Im about to read deeponion's!
I think that all the technical details should be written in the whitepaper as it is the most important source of information about the project. Recently I searched for tezos WP, it has only 17 pages of purely technical information. Have you seen the Whitepaper of Foresting ICO? There are more than 120 pages of information, in my view that's really a lot. I think 30-50 pages would be enough to provide as much info to investors as they need.

There's no word "too much" if it's about explaining technical aspect of the project, there's some investors that only want to know the project enough but there's also some people who want to get into detailed depth-in technical aspect of the project since they are taking the project really serious unlike the others.
By that, even if it's 200 pages if the technical aspect of the project is explained briefly to its detailed things, there'll be someone else looking after that.

Sorting things out and all those important details that investors needs to know and not those technical aspect will be fine for reading, you are right
if things can be summarize and only things that needs to be consider and read upon before investing, but still depends from the type of person who
will be investing their money especially now that everything is unpredictable there's a need to be more curios about the project future plans.

Reading white papers is the easiest way in getting acquaintances with the project you want to participate or rather invest in, white papers ensure the details on  the body of the project likewise the update, concept and the idea the project entails, the team, Roadmap, the ICO as well as the token sale.

A lot of complicated whitepaper so I like to watch the first video or read the lightpaper to know more about the project. If it is then interesting for me, I read the whitepaper.

Despite the fact that many write that you need to read the documents of this or that ICO, I'm almost sure that they are doing this unit!

I read all the white papers that participated in the Bounty Mission and the ICO project, which I think is a very important process! The white paper will give us a better understanding of the entire project!

On my opinion, I think that whitepaper is one of the best sources of information about the project. Especially if it is well-made. I have to study the technical documentation of many projects quite often, as I write ICO reviews and without understanding the project, it is impossible to do. In any case, I'm just glad, because this is a great opportunity to study the crypto market. Thought?

On the off chance that you need to make sure you assessed all the data you require before putting resources into the ICO, begin with the whitepaper to get a diagram of all that you have to know and comprehend before settling on any speculation choices. I loved GIFcoin and DataBroker DAO in light of the fact that it has an immense market and their white paper is clear.
