First of all: why do so many people call etherEum etherIum?   It's a really often made mistake and I wonder where it comes from.

Then on topic:  IF Vitalik doesn't leave the ethereum project (he seems to be not amused by all the ICO crazy hype-lambo talk) AND the whole ICO scene doesn't collapse but actually gets adoption THEN I see a bright future for eth.  If not... well then not.  All these ICO's on ERC-20 really need to come to the point that they're actually used and not turn out to be some money making investment schemes.  Almost any part of economic life has its own ICO's with blockchain promises but I don't see much adoption yet.   That really needs to happen or else eth will go down too.

The point of Ethereum was basically only to create more tokens and coins through ICOs and you can see where that has gotten us. Not too much innovation but a lot of promises and I think the market needs to take a step back from trying to attempt too many projects, a lot of them are too ambitious to succeed. I agree. I think Ethereum is a nice platform for other altcoins to emerge. There's room for improvement in cryptocurrencies and I don't see a good reason to reject new projects and ideas.

I do agree into those points. Just only on smart contract feature which do really give an innovation which is really usable in real world industries which I can see this is the edge of ETH compared to BTC together with having a fast and less fees on each transfer been made but actually no one really knows on what path it would takes.If it can able to defeat the king which is BTC in overall rankings. I don't oppose these coins. It seems to me that they complement each other. I use ETH if the bitcoin network is overloaded. I think that I can apply this analogy: Bitcoin is the main coin and ETH is the serving coin. But this doesn't diminish the importance of ETH.

First of all, Its 'Ethereum' not 'Etherium'  and secondly, Ethereum can never beat bitcoin in becoming the first cryptocurrency not now or anytime soon. Ether is better bitcoin better in a couple of moments but that does not mean it's better in all the rest. There are projects that are better than their faces, but this does not make them better for all people and it needs to be understood.

Well, Ethereum definitely has it's advantages. You can create tokens and host them on their blockchain. But at the same time, you can just clone the Bitcoin source and duplicate that and have your own blockchain. And I fully agree. In fact, many of us are into both Bitcoin and Ethereum so there is no point in comparing as we are not in a dilemma of choosing in between the two we can use both anytime anywhere. These two giants in the world of cryptocurrency are now symbols of the industry and they should be appreciated for the things they can offer to the market. We are not so sure if someday Ethereum will eventually overtake and replace Bitcoin because nobody can be sure...or maybe there can be a third force that can come along and take the crown...again nobody knows and for the moment let's just enjoy these two best coins so far.

I see the development of Ethereum is very good, I see Ethereum has gained a lot of trust from many people and has been used by many companies for the success of their project so I believe the future of ETH is very bright but if to beat Bitcoin I think ETH still have to work hard and takes time which is very long because the price difference between these two coins is still very far away.

bitcoin is actually focussing to be the main stream payment system but it will not likely to be happened due to the scalability problem of bitcoin
ethereum is focusing to create such a manufacture to support the crypto adoption through the tokenization of asset into the digital form.

ETHEREUM has emerged as the main competitor to bitcoin’s crypto market dominance and analysts at Weiss Ratings have given ETH a more favourable score for potential profit than bitcoin and looking at the way etherium blockchain is been built where it gives room for many other coin to be built on its blockchain did you think, it can emerge as the most accepted coin later in the future than bitcoin and thereby overtaken bitcoin in price and value.

This is possible but for now the people are so much trusted the Bitcoin over Ethereum so maybe if the Bitcoin will gone then that will be the time that the people will shift to Ethereum as this is the second most trusted coin. For now Bitcoin already build a foundation of trust among the people as the most promising investment that it will not need a product just to be promote and advertise to attract more people to invest.

Both have its own audience and supporters and well they also have their own offer services ,where  adoptions will be on the end users positions,
bitcoin was first in the mainstream giving him the main basis of crypto industry while ETH offers platform where new developers will enjoy the service
there's no need to compare both have its own future goals.
