Investing in ICO, due not regulated at all atm, is really risky..thats why you need to do a lot of your own research. Do not fall for hypes or some shady groups.

But still better to know more about that specific project so will not be wasted later on. Reading all the information and understanding the specific coin will help you decide to participate or invest on that coin, and by this you can tell if its legit or just a waste of time.

Firstly try and read the whitepaper and get more information about the people who are associated with the team. Do ask them the question during the Q&A or on telegram and see what reply or vision they have for future. If it is worth do invest some money and do not invest all in 1 ICO . Also see how is the response on this forum during their promotional activities happening.

It's better to start searching from the product or the problem they solve. Then analyze the team. Then check the everyone in the team. Sometimes members of the teams already were in previous projects. You can watch they were successful or nah. And then you have to pray that all the time you spend on bounty campaign will be profitable because it's true that around 80 percent of the ICO even doesn't go on exchange.

From the Scam there is no insurance only at your own risk.
Indeed, it's like playing roulette, you can win, or you can lose. It happens that the necessary and well-thought-out projects of the ICO do not succeed and do not collect sufficient funds, but, on the contrary, they do not do anything remarkable-they succeed. And fraudulent projects are sometimes impossible to distinguish. Of course, you need to get acquainted with the documents of ICO and his team, but this does not give a complete guarantee that the ICO will not be fraudulent.

Well, there's still a possibility to lose.
Let's say you are working hard to gain followers on Twitter so you can make more shares / tokens per post.
If you pick bad projects / scams too often, you will lose followers. Followers and time are the assets of bounty hunters...

Bounty is free ,nothing to lost.
Bounty might be free but it doesnt mean that you dont lose nothing. How would you consider on wasting up your precious time and effort? Its still considered as a valuable thing. We might not able to put up any money from it but it is hardly acceptable that we do waste time and hardwork into nothing. Searching out every project wont really assure you to avoid scams and failures into these bounty programs.

If you are delicate then you will recognize them by reading the roadmap. white paper and actuality of the project. As more information you have then better for you. Analyse everything about campaign and think think about preparing in it

Read the whitepaper and the roadmap, check the team and it's community. If it's hype enough then you can join the bounty. Pick the campaign managed by a trusted manager then I guess you're good to go.

The profit can be from 100% to 1000% if you have even 5-20 coins, then the profit can be as much as $ 5-20 and $ 500 or $ 2,000, the main thing is to choose the right project to study the team, past work, now it's more than 50% of the scam...

How look bounty crypto legit or scam??
..because any bounty that nothing or never update spreadsheet...
sometimes there is also a new post that shares still newbie
Things you do mention is implying a bounty managers work which isn't really an accurate thing to be spot on to know if the bounty program would be legit or not but somehow we can presume that it is a shitty project if the manager do mishandles it in the very first place. If you don't understand on how he manage people then better to get out and jump into much better project but knowing and telling off between legit and scam is the most challenging part for bounty seekers.

Searching a good bounty that is legit is just easy task , here in bitcointalk most of the bounty campaigns here are legit. But its just a matter of time when you can really tell that the bounty is a scam. When the bounty ends and there is no updates regarding the distributions of bounty allocations to their participants , that is when the bounty campaign is a scam. Reagrding about the updates of spreadsheets in the bounty campaigns , sometimes it is delay for them to update the entire spreadsheets of the bounty.
