The project is very interesting and deserves attention. He has nothing to do with centralized coins. I just did not understand what is the benefit of this bank, if the owner of the digital coin will transfer his coins to the deposit, but in fact they will not be transferred to the bank for profitable use by the bank itself, but only be blocked in the purse of its holder?

I tried to find additional information about this project, looked his team - mostly specialists from England and the United States. However, I did not find any information about the ICO. There is no ICO project from the XOV campaign at this project forum. Therefore, I have a question: will the ICO be conducted and, if so, at this forum or elsewhere. Where can I join this ICO as a signatory campaign participant?

As he said it will have the banking structure,so it means it will be much morelikely the traditional banks like what we are avoiding to have here, because centralization doesnt have any place in cryptocurrencies, there are few ICOs that has his idea so theres nothing new about this but the thing is we are avoiding to have centralized shits in our community so i can say it wont achieve any success.

The aim is to have a place for you to store your coins with an agreement that would earn you fixed interest on your deposits. I like to think of it more as a COD than anything at this point. The stabilization will come from a combination economic models....not fiat backed like USDT. They will be acting as a central bank only in that it can control the supply of coins, but will never own your coins after deposit.

Not worthy to support this project IMO,cryptocurrencies doesnt need any banking structure because these currencies are created to remove or eliminate centralization of these banks? why would our community support this project with the banking structuture? doesnt make sense at all because we are all here for the decentralization and anonimity of our transactions.
You are right. Cryptocurrency only struggling with banks.
Using cryptocurrency we do not pay commission to banks.
It will not give us anything positive.
All transfers are done anonymously.
So I do not see the need for a crypt-dollar bank.

Perhaps this project will succeed, but I just expressed my opinion.

Thanks for the comments and points of interest. XOV will only be acting as a bank as a place to store your own digital currency with fixed interest. I like to think of is a CD. The coins are still decentralized and will remain yours always. The stable priced combined with fixed interest would be a huge benefit in bear markets or for merchants wanting a stable currency to receive for goods/services. A hamburger today should be the same price tomorrow....not more expensive/cheaper based on the market.

A "central bank" for decentralized crypocurrency? This makes the joke of the day.  Grin

I thought I was the only one it sounded awkward to. Cryptocurrency can never be decentralized.

I'm sorry, but I think the project has a few prospects in the future. I do not think that the main players of the actual will want to give control of the currency to you...

In my own opinion I think for mass adoption of cryptocurrency, the stability is a great factor! No seller would want to hold a currency that looses value every moment of the day.. What I dont understand is having crypto bank? Crypto is a decentralized system and I think that's why people invest in it but having a crypto bank... Isn't it going to centralize what we know to be decentralized? I am yet to understand the basics of this project but I think any project with a good plan will go along way

Its a great idea to have a central bank for crypto. I have gone through your lite paper. Its quite descriptive. Only one thing I need clarity on is the proposed crypto credit card based on what we keep in the bank. Is it going to be global or will the card only be available in countries that have legalised crypto?

I still do not understand the material interest of such a bank in this project. From the point of view of the holder of the crypto currency, everything is clear: it enables the bank to block the crypto currency in its purse and for this it receives its interest. True, it is not yet clear what they will be - in fiat or in some kind of crypto currency. And what does this mean for the bank in the material plan, if the bank will not use the crypto currency in the blocked wallet in any way? I do not see the point of doing this on the part of such a bank. Although the idea itself is interesting and deserves approval.
