I wouldn't risk buying ethereum at the current price because it is in for a longer downtrend that could land it to 0.020 BTC/ETH., and if that happens and BTC hits 3k or 1.8k that would be $36 or $60 per Ether.

Yes, it's a good idea overall. But don't sell those altcoin that have their own roadmap and are actively developing, such altcoin will likely still give you a profit.

i believe that today is bullrun started, in a bullrun every altcoins is gonna get same steady rise. i think some of few different choice is gonna be good, split your assets into many altcoins

in another case, it means eth might be on the accumulating zone right now

Ethereum is a solid coin. many coins use ethereum platform.
if you want to invest for long-term, ethereum suits for you. but if only for short-term, there are better coins than it.
For me investing in etherum is worth only if we think about getting an income in next year, shorter time for me is without any sense. |

Yes, in my opinion ethereum is a good place to invest compared to other altcoins. I am currently focusing on ethereum investment. Ethereum had fallen, and I would use the moment to enter or buy some ethereum from the capital I had, I was sure ethereum would be able to return to the price of $ 500 and above.

The problem with most investors is that they limit their investment to prominent coins. I still remember when ETH was $15 that is why i don't panic about the fluctuation of the price which dropped from $800 to about $300. There is great potential in Altcoins, especially the ones with real problem-solving potential.
