Our plan for this month:

- switch from CoiniumServ pool software to yiimp
- run block explorer
- create a super fast mini Live (USB flash drive) Linux distro (Elicoin Linux) with cpuminer-opt and light web server for monitoring and server control
- add some new features to Elicoin GUI Miner
- negotiate with exchanges to list our coin
- run paper wallet

Any more suggestions? :-)

Website is running already on https://elicoin.net. We'll redesign it later, it is not prior now.

Some other new coins are trading on private groups before being listed in official trade. It helps drive up hype and value. There is a service that makes this secure, ill post a link for it in a bit. You should look into that.

I think people care a lot about having a good site to see exactly what this coin is and where it is heading (establish initial impression of professionalism and service.). They care about a good pool. They care about a detailed and well thought out roadmap. They care about a Discord community. They care about a block explorer.

GUI miners, and usb stick security vulnerabilities are at the bottom of the list for things that matter to real miners.

The coin-miners and hashvalue pools seems to reject shares from older mining clients. Try using the newest CPUminer-opt-3.8.3 version.

I get that occasionally as well. Sometimes it will happen and not recover for more than 5 minutes so i switch pools. Shitty situation honestly. Im just holding out for the Dev to hopefully start up a legit pool that makes everyone happy.

There are so many bugs in CoiniumServ software, we're fixing it now.
After its fixed, we are going to switch to yiimp.
We're very sorry for that.

Ok, but all the other pools are running on yiimp and there the "stratum_recv_line failed"-error occures after a few shares and is not recovering until i start miner new.

Is there any solution i can work on to prevent this error? Huh

It's happened to me few times but it not seend to affect my hashrates. And it passes itdelf aster minute or so.

Anyway i would suggest you to use such batch file

:start
cpuminer-aes-sse42 -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://hash4value.pw:6333 -u <WALLET> -p c=ELI --time-limit=<TIME_IN_SECONDS>
goto:start

Where <TIME_IN_SECONDS> is time after which miner will exit. But your batch file will star it again. This way u do not need to restart it manualy. Since miner start realy quick you will not loose any time. I would recomend you to set timeout to something like 10 minutes.

I don't know enough about the technical requirements for mining, but when you say that it's only mineable for CPU, is there no possibility for a workaround to make it mineable for other hardware?

Research how it works, its the only way that you will understand what you are asking. Its possible to gpu mine, but not ASIC. GPU is too slow to be worth it.
