I've just noticed a single miner on the hashvalue.pw pool mining with "hsrminer/1.0" doing over 210 kH/s

hsrminer is a GPU miner (NVIDIA only) and as far as I can tell, it doesn't support yescryptr16: https://github.com/palginpav/hsrminer

Any ideas what's up?

Getting on exchange is not a simple task for 3 weeks old cryptocurrency. We're negotiating with exchanges now and Elicoin will be listed on some of them very soon. I asked the Dev about this yesterday but have not heard anything back yet.

Right now there is someone with a GPU miner on the http://hashvalue.pw/site/miners mining over 50% of the Elicoin pool (Their ratio 958 kh/s of a 1.7mh/s pool). Looks like the GPU miners have found a work around and the YescryptR16 algo is not very GPU resistant. I hope this can be fixed soon.

this coin is miserable with gpu it is possible to mine with with 16 different algorithm
talk to the developer in the discord and he just blokeo the deve change the ann and put CPU and GPU

Blocktime is also far away from 1 minute - the coin is not working as announced...

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: There are rumors about YescryptR16 GPU miners that are faster than CPU. Even it seems like that, IT IS NOT TRUE! Elicoin is still CPU mineable only!

What happened then?

GPU miners have sent tons of FAKE SHARES to our and other pools, overwhelmed it with these shares and a lot of it were marked as valid (accepted). Even that those GPU miners did not find any valid block hash (they were finding neoscrypt hashes, not YescryptR16 hashes), they've got share for doing nothing!
We have fixed this problem on pool.elicoin.net and we recommend fixing this bug to other pools too! This bug was caused by stratum service (part of YIIMP pool software), not by us. Anyway, we are sorry for inconvenience.
