I really wonder if any rank in forum can get a positive trust even newbie? Cause mostly I've seen accounts with positive trust are only high ranking member (Hero and Legendary) but mostly I've seen a lot with negative trust from newbie to highest rank. So only the high rank can be that positive? Maybe more informative I guess, just saying. Tell me if someone from forum seen a low rank member here but given with positive trust. Im guessing none. But if there are, I`ll be glad to know the info how they got it (From quality post, informative post, or humorous post).

You’re not supposed to gain trust from posting. You get trust because you prove yourself trustworthy, e.g. by being paid for a trade in advance and delivering the goods. I have also seen people being awarded trust based on a long history of scam fighting or similar activity. In either case, it’s rather obvious why a large percentage of trust goes to long time users - newcomers simply won’t have had the time to prove they deserve to be trusted.

Really, you can't figure this out by yourself?

It's simple.  A lot of people who are trusted here have built their reputation up over time--they've earned it, and that isn't done immediately.

Conversely, a lot of scammers and spammers create new accounts by the dozens and get busted with red trust when they pull off their misdeeds.  Noobs tend to want a high rank and green trust without having to work for it.  This forum, and life in general, doesn't work that way.  And no, trust has little to do with what you post.

I could post countless quotes about trust here that might put things in to some context but I'll go with this one that seems quite fitting..

'Trust takes years to build, seconds to break and forever to repair'

In that quote you have the essence of the trust system and how it does and should work. People with low ranks don't often have positive trust because they have not been around long enough to build up that trust in them. Low ranks often have negative trust because it takes only seconds for them to break someone's trust, just like it takes them only seconds to make their many low ranked accounts. Once they're tagged with negative trust it's almost impossible for them to come back from that, hence the forever to repair.

Do not worry about trust in the forum unless you are transacting with others, if you are then be trustworthy and with time you will develop a reputation for doing so but one must question your motives for having a positive trust rating. If you are always trust worthy then your reputation will come soon enough and you won't need a trust rating for that.

Don't trust anybody, use an escrow service if it's a large amount.

Never forget that this forum allows memberships to be sold.

This is pretty disgusting. You are a low-ranking member, asking if there are any low-ranking members that have received positive trust for some type of post so that you can hopefully copy what they've done in an attempt to farm trust yourself.

When you're basically asking "How can I earn trust?" it puts up red flags for everybody, because our response is going to be "Why?"; there is no good reason or explanation. Anything you want to do on this site is possible without trust, so why are you even asking?

Dont judge the book by its cover sir. Im humbly asking this to understand the way how this system works on forum. I know trust developed for a long time period and not just earn overnight. I respect your opinion about it. But dont say Im want to imitate others just to farm trust, cause it is not on my vocabulary to do nonsense stuff. I am well trusted in real life so i prove it myself here. Thank you.

I'm not trying to show any animosity towards you, but I am simply trying to inform you how your actions appear to some. There is no problem with trying to understand how the trust system functions, or what a typical rating looks like. The official trust thread would be your best bet for this kind of information, found here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=211858.0 . I suggest reading through many pages of this thread, because almost any question you can imagine about the trust system has been voiced and answered within it. I would also suggest locking this thread until you've done some further reading through that thread, because otherwise you will simply get redundant information.

Use the search function for future questions, because simply searching "Trust" yields all sorts of results that would help you to better understand the system.

Selling membership is allowed in this forum. So Sellers must be selling memberships for money.  But people claiming to be working here for money are rare, I have not seen.  Most of the members claim they are here for betterment of bitcoin and for gaining knowledge.  Why so?
