Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy a place to live in San Antonio, Texas. My budget is approximately 80BTC, but depending on the location I can go up or down from that number. Place should be livable, ideally carpet free, and ideally have a garage. If you have any small industrial buildings that are mostly a garage and office, I am open to that as well.

The closer to 78218 the better, but I am flexible. I don't need all that much, but am only willing to pay for what something is worth. I'd probably buy and happily live in the beat up mansion from Fight Club given the chance.

For a really exceptional deal, I would consider renting and paying in BTC.

Let me know what you have.

Thanks,
Teran

Possibly missing a 0

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

That would make more sense.

The single zero is correct. I have seen homes here for sale at 8-10k, even $5k. Granted, there's not that much to them, but they are a building, nonetheless.

This house is going to be in a pretty bad area.

That's about a years rent not the price to purchase something without wheels.

At that price, I'd suggest looking into an RV.

Do you have any wiggle room? I don't see 80BTC getting a house and garage. I rent out of the city for just under 10k a year, I would be highly surprised if you found something in the city for any less.

You may be able to find a sell by owner and use that as a down payment then rent to own? Not a bad idea if you find a house you can stand living in for a couple years.
