Will this work? How do you calculate which PSU is good for a specific gear. I cannot understand the details on this PSU at all.

Technically it should with 30 amps on the +5v, but as we've been funding out, they don't hold yp well. In my opinion grab a dedicated 5v 30 amp psu and run that, the writeup on how is a few pages back, you only need 25 amps but it gives it room to not run 100% so it lasts longer,  besides the price is almost the same.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

What's the difference between http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371004, that is mentioned in the thread, page 15, and the one above. This one is continuous supply, is that the difference? Otherwise it's the same/similar thng?

I'll have to look closer when I get home (on my phone Sry bout spelling).  Another thing those PC psu's need that we're neglecting is : most need a load on the 12V rail for the 5V to output correctly.

Look for a 30+ amp dedicated 5v psu and either hack a 24pin extension cable or grab a 24pin cable off a dead psu.  You'll get better efficiency due to not needing the other voltages, it will last longer because its supposed to run 24/7, and its the same if not cheaper than a PC psu that can run it.

I don't think the manufacturer sets the price due to exchange rates...
prices are in btc.

Canary, have you noticed any oddities on USPS shipping recently? Thought I'd ask here rather than PM. Of the last few USBs you shipped on the 4th and 5th, they are still all showing as "Delivered to sort facility" with no other updates since the 4th and 5th. Not that its been a very long amount of time, I found it anomalous for a few packages.

Usually the BTC price drops corresponds to difficulty rising.

sometimes they don't get scanned in through the machines... just give it till tomorrow...  I'll also inquire about them when I drop off today's packages in a bit.
thanks!

Just wanted to say thanks to Canary for shipping my recent blade order so fast that I'm still waiting here with a bunch of blades and no PSUs (stupid Amazon)!  If you're thinking about buying, buy form CanaryInTheMine!

If I've helped you out, or you just think I'm awesome… 13SZex4uANVrfTeeuFEXGu6W8EVYtWVB53
