The travel industry is a perfect fit for Bitcoin, since it is one that merchant fees / payment card network costs are high, and the travel-related firms end up with a fair amount of chargebacks.

Exactly. And one more thing - have you ever wondered why the room price is nearly the same on all the online booking websites? This way, the big companies protect themselves from competition. Even the hotel itself on its own website isn't allowed to offer better price. But we believe competition is good and we're trying to change the situation using bitcoin's awesomeness.
