How about if there's a subject added in school
For crypto trading?
The governments who favours btc and wants to adopt blockchain technology can only implenent it as a subject in academics feild and who are against it you cannot teacb them in school. Its a good idea because you can make children aware about crypto at an earlier age which will be beneficial for them in future. But it should be taught in a very interesting manner so that they take it seriously not as a extra burden on them.

Nice idea. But to me, this alone can become a whole programme of study on its own instead of being just a course/subject.Bitcoin trading is broad and a complete understanding of it can earn you what you need on this planet.

Whilst I wouldnt be against it, I think there's much more important things they could be teaching in school for the real life experiences. Talking properly about jobs/careers, where you can go from that, how much you could probably earn at the top of that career, what further training you would likely need, mortgages etc etc

I don't think that is a good idea!Because bitcoin won't be live forever! It's just financial pyramid! But in my opinion, children must have course about blockchain technology! It's really useful and perspective for people and our future!

This is never ever gonna happen. At least not in the next 10 years. Regarding trading lessons - I doubt there are such subjects in school but there are such subjects in some universities.

Why not? I think its a good idea. So many people will know about butcoins. They will know how it works. Who invented this. Maybe even they are a young children they can invest too in bitcoins. So they can make money at the young age. I hope i already know about bitcoins when it start this bitcoins. But i just knew last year only.

Schools don't even teach FOREX, if they do students will lose interest in studying as they can already earn. Why study when they can be millionaires with just the trading skills.

I don't think there will be schools allowing crytotrading as a course but they might tackle blockchain technology to which can be useful to school programs as this isn't just for cryptocurrencies.

I wish I had this chance to be taught about bitcoin in school. Unfortunately I had to research by myself. It would be useful for students to learn about it in school
This is a great idea, but there should be a separate subject to play the students with a different sequence and everybody today says I wish I was also learned about bitcoin in school and everyone wants to go about it. And also the students and teachers should have information about bitcoin and they will get help and everyone will be able to get it.

Thats a great idea. But why not make it a whole professional programme on it own. Then we will see children of about 7 years becoming independent soon and the other professions that takes several years to complete becoming irrelevant as well. Grin Grin Grin

There a now too many threads discussing the same suggestion. Governments must first recognize cryptocurrency before schools can include them in their curriculum. Not mandatory, only as an option for college students.

I'm not sure that schoolchildren have to know "what bitcoin is". We need a special subject learns Bitcoin in our universities' programs. All interested studens will be able to learn everything they need for succesful trading.
That would be ideal!

I believe that for schools-this will be too complex subject. Such information is necessary to study at universities on the subjects of computer science and Economics.

Our world is growing in technology, And now it's changing. If previously the gold is appreciated, now the Cryptocurrency,. It will still be considered the value of gold today. So it is necessary to study it in schools. For the younger generation to know it.

I don't understand what you're suggesting we go to school. One lesson is enough to explain the basic principles of the blockchain operation. You don't learn in school the process of production Fiat. Bitcoin is not money for me. This is a whole ideology that cannot be taught. This ideology must be understood and recognized.

Cryptocurrencies should be taught in an modern economics course. You could easily build an entire semester around it. Granted you would need a teacher deep rooted in cryptocurrencies to be able to properly educate. I think we are almost there with Blockchain technology making such the impact that they can't ignore it anymore. Not imbuing this on our children will put them at a disadvantage to those children learning it at a younger age. Similar to learning a second language.

i don't agree about that because usually people who in schools are childrens and teenagers so i think they aren't ready to learn about crypto trading and let's they focus for their studies and for crypto trading let's leave it all out to their parents

Subject is blockchain , not bitcoin. bitcoin is a part of blockchain .

It is not a bad idea at all,  i think if the cryptocurrency is taught in school, like basic properties, how does it moves making the graph, what factors making it to fluctuate, and others, it can change the world of how we see the entire online currency system. Topics like economics, marketing and bussiness, they all have subtopics concerning currency. If this is taught in school one person might figure out how to utilize the system and the blockchain itself for the glory of all.
For me, blockchain technology is not just the base for bitcoin and altcoins, it can be utilize to the point that humans can gain permanent additional benefits not just in a financial way, but in almost everyday use of computer.

I don't think schools will allow it in that way (trading) because that will be considered as teaching kids some gambling. I don't think schools will dedicate a special subject to bitcoin because they are also a part of this central governmental authority (that does not simply like the idea of cryptocurrencies). However, in 2015 I was a taking International Financial Markets course and there was a special subject in the syllabus related with bitcoin. I believe that has already gone deeper.

On the other hand, I cryptography is an official subject in many tech schools (related to information technologies), and I believe topics on bitcoin will play a key role in those subjects in the future!
