It's a mineable ERC20 token on the ethereum network with the same properties as bitcoin. It is stored in an ethereum address

If it showed up in your wallet without mining it, it was probably someone spoofing 0xBTC with that Ethereum "exploit" that recently came to light...basically people can make their own coins that look like others and spam them to everyone that has ETH. Has nothing to do with 0xBTC but check the contract address I bet it's not really 0xBTC Hi Dev.. im mining with my CPU
Address: 0x2d7B3bfF39DDaDE400CCE86EDC83dC20B54124F1 Accumulated Shares: 1230 Balance: 360849 Vardiff: 205 Using Custom Vardiff: false Hashrate: 2.08 Mh/s

All pools have a minimum payout of around 10-15 coins. If you are mining with your CPU this may take a very long time...your balance of "360849" is currently only .00360849 0xBTC.

This project look like the real thing and i will seriously like to participate in the mining because the concept is very unique.
Is there anyway i can know the present difficulty and can this coin be mine by using hash rentals?

Live Stats: https://0x1d00ffff.github.io/0xBTC-Stats/?page=statsNot sure about hash rentals. This would be a great conversation to have in the #mining channel in our discord: https://discord.gg/TnFFmm

Hiya! Which CUDA miner version are you using? Some of the links in this thread are outdated and point to the first experimental builds of the community CUDA miner. I released a new build 1-2 days ago which has a lot of speed, reliability and usability improvements. You might give it a try: https://bitbucket.org/LieutenantTofu/cosmic-v3/downloads/Repository for the "2.10.0pre5" CUDA miner on which it's based: https://github.com/azlehria/0xbitcoin-gpuminerMVis' Tokenminer also supports mining on CUDA GPUs, but not as fast. But, it also supports OpenCL(AMD, CPUs) quite nicely: https://github.com/mining-visualizer/MVis-tokenminerSeconding that #support on the Discord is a great go-to if you have any problems: the people there are super helpful and friendly. Good luck and happy hashing

As mentioned earlier, you do have to hit the min payout on your selected pool. Some of them go as low as 5 0xBTC, I believe. Note that your balance on the pools doesn't update until the next block is solved. Keep an eye on your Shares/Share % until then.

I tried both the Oxbtcminer version 2.10 and Cosmic 3.4t, both appear to be relatively new, but I get the same error regardless. This is the bat data i'm using atm to test with a single card first. start "GPU 0 - 1080ti" cmd /c "set CUDA_VISIBLE_DEVICES=0 && for /l %%n in () do echo pool mine cuda | 0xbitcoin-miner.exe" I keep trying to run the CUDA miners but I get this error regardless of which miner I try..

I just joined the discord channel and posted on there. I put the info for mike.rs:3000 for the mining pool. I keep trying to run the CUDA miners but I get this error regardless of which miner I try..

Mining difficulty finally risen to where I am no longer making money hand over fist, BUT it is still more profitable than ETH mining which is cool . PLUS the coin has a ton of room to grow in value and a lot of hashing power left recently which means the difficulty may adjust downward Takin' this thing to the moon.
