Is Monero a Good Investment?

For me, this coin is very promissing and good valued. Both the Monero community and Ledger are working on a hardware wallet for Monero. There is supposed to be a hardware wallet release for Monero in 2018.

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.


Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.

So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?

I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

The price prediction for this coin shows that it has the potential to do well long-term. For instance, a five-year prognosis for XMR shows that the price will rise to $2104 in 2023 with revenue of +556.54%. If you invest $100 in Monero today, you are likely to get $656.54 in 2022.

I will give this forecast not for 2022, but for 2020. This coin has a huge potential for price growth and will always be popular in dark web

Yes, its quite obvious that Monero already gained trust from people in the crypto industry and im pretty confident that this coin is a siginificant one. Monero is definitely a coin with great potential because it serves an important role of being utilized for exclusive access in the deep web and we all know that videos and informations from the deep web requires payment.
This is why i really believe Monero is a good investments.

If you do not delve into subtlety, Monero makes transactions using ring signatures. They definitely "mix" the transactions of one person with others, so it is not clear from the party who owns the addresses.

Yes, definitely a great investment. Any coin with great demands are considered effective and will surely gain huge profits. Monero is one of the most promising coin with huge value. Access to different private videos from the deep web are quite expensive and monero provides access to such exclusive rights equivalent to huge amount of payment, this makes Monero one of the coins that will one day reach to a high level making into the top list of most used coins.

Think yes since most investors are looking forward to its platforms. Monero has a good and active developer and that what makes it alive and it is building up the trust of people for it. Just like any other coins, monero is also in its low value bit I believe that it would also rise soon.

I think Monero is one of the best privacy coins there is, along with verge they are pretty solid when it comes to making transactions, personally I'm not so interested in privacy coin so I don't know the details, but I still have some of my money invested there, by recommendations from other investors and friends.

Monero really is the best among the privacy coins.
One of the main reasons why it stands out from the rest is because it has had a unified community since day one.
It has never suffered from infighting and forks like other coins and the result has been consistent, positive development.
In fact, Monero's blockchain is so good that there are tons of coins out there that fork it and use it for their own (basically copying it).

On top of that, Monero has the advantage of standing the test of time and brand name recognition.
Monero's resiliency has really shown this year.

Bitcoin is the first coin which came up with the idea of a crypto currency and it'll be the ultimate survivor in the crypto space because it came up with the most unique thing ever. Just like bitcoin, monero came up with something unique too:

Fully anonymous transactions. (bitcoin is semi anonymous)

That's why it will be one of few survivors along with bitcoin. I consider myself a bitcoin maximalist and I still hold some monero.

maybe monero will have the potential, but not for the common man in the street. For normal people, it will be under control

They are a good investment but not the best I guess. But we can see that they are trying to progressing and its a good sign. Hold them at least for 2 to 6 months to make sure.

I like Monero and want to have it in my portfolio, i think that private coins have good future. I am sure that XMR price will grow year by year.
