Looks more like a pump and dump than a scam. I feel sorry for you if you bought it at the top, the price just keep on going down in USD value and also in sat value. All my alts are down so it's not so bad

Volumes fell very much. Price, too. I planned to buy this coin on a drawdown. What is the reason for such a strong fall?

Bitcoin dropping + Lack of a release + FUD.

Check out XSPEC's 7-day graph compared to other popular coins, the graph is virtually the same: https://ibb.co/nNtTVH

Could you tell me which of those is Monero vs Spectrecoin vs Bitcoin? Probably not and even on longer time-frame graphs you can see that XSPEC follows a similar height and drop as many other altcoins since most alts are so grounded in Bitcoin. Basically, once Bitcoin goes back up, and a new XSPEC release drops relieving some doubt, it will likely return to the $3 it was hovering at before the Bitcoin fall. XSPEC is high risk, high reward. Do your research on all the features and FUD before you invest.

But what do I know, I'm just your typical XSPEC shill ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Does the business model have any underlying revenue generation or value support for the coin.
Or is it just a utility token with no real use?
all coins need to be used in a way that creates value (e.g. mining, lending, payments)

Stop trying to compare this to Monero, it's like trying to compare a pile of shit to a gold bar

Volume says it all, it's declining day by day, price dips happen in relation to BTC but can you explain the volume going to complete shit?

Spectrecoin (XSPEC)
Market Cap
$11,610,254 USD
1,345 BTC
Volume (24h)
$12,218 USD
1.41 BTC

Yep, you are just a shill.

Volume was doing okay and actually rising again until Bitcoin broke sub $9,200. It had been at $48,000 and then went to $100,000+ until Bitcoin shit itself again. Price has been dropping with BTC so no one wants to trade. As far as I'm aware, the amount of staking coins have been increasing. No one was comparing XSPEC's features to Monero's features, I was simply using graphs to show they experienced similar drops in accordance with Bitcoin. Not surprised that went over your head.

Good questions. XSPEC is a privacy coin so the main goal is to be able to send coins privately without being traced. Currently it works, but stealth isn't default. Someone being able to send money back home to their parents in another country, often in a region where it might not be allowed, is a possible use-case. Its a PoS coin with a 5% return so as long as the value is decent, accumulating and holding is profitable. XSPEC has some plans in the future to implement a thing called Spectrecash, but thats way down the line and not really on the agenda for now.

I dont know whether it is a scam or not, but anyhow you invested so dont panic and sell. I would suggest if you can affort this loss wait for some more days by holding up this coins until the market comes up. If market rises then you can sell. Patience can hive you some profit.

It is a bear market at the moment and all the coins are suffering and seems to be dying especially in the lower market cap coins. There is no confidence no volume in the market to make the coins go up.

Many coins rather almost all the coins in my portfolio have retraced more than 50% from its ATH some of them almost retraced 80+% so if you believe in the project just HODL that is the only option left at the moment because selling at this low will be a mistake.

Indeed, coins with the lower market cap are suffering, but I think that now is the best time to invest. I believe in privacy coins have a better future than the regular ones.

First of all, coins with low trading volume are very likely to change their prices rapidly within a short period of time. Secondly, privacy coins have no bright future, because if we would achieve the mass adoption, privacy coins would need to go.

It is not only XSPEC, the whole market of altcoins is bloody today. It is because Bitcoin finally broke out. This is part of the crypto cycle.
I think still you don't know that spectrecoin (XSPEC) is a scam coin it’s already proved by one member created scam accusation with proper evidence. Also this project looking very suspicious like it’s not listed in any real exchanges but in the bearing market trading volume is not bad i think. Whatever It’s almost dead project so be careful before investment with this project.

Not dead yet the value is 0.1 $ each token but the marketcap too small for what they raised from the ICO.
If its true that the telegram has been deleted i  am amaze how this coin still alive even though they investors know they are scam already, market manipulation or no one is selling any more?
The announcement thread still active and give new more updates from thier project so not dead yet.
And there is hardfork happen last month

There are many negative vibes about this project, it's because Spectrecoin had some suspicious activities last year, that's why price fell down to death. But I don't think XSPEC has scammed us.
If you research now, they have some big updates recently. Such as Spectrecoin listed on some exchanges recently, they had a fork, Spectre v4.x released and so on. You may all these updates on their twitter handle or in ANN thread.

Bitcoin is gonna hit 100K usd
