Can you explain me only participants from the white list can participate in ICO or without prior registration investors will be able to participate as well?

There is no ICO for this project. No pre-mine either. Project is funded from a small percentage that comes off every block that is found. Reward starts at 6% and descends as time goes on, which is a great idea to help prove that the Devs are actually interested in making a solid project and not just running with the pre-mine when the price climbs

How is it different from other projects?

Ombre is a privacy coin with low fees and fast transaction times. It uses mixins and ringCT to ensure privacy. Devs are focused and have a great road-map planned. It has a unique funding strategy and has a great future.

In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter. You will make the same amount of Ombre if you mine long enough.
However,
I believe 4450 would be the better choice because of the higher Difficulty. If your cards cannot manage it, try 4448, but they should be able to handle 4450.

It's a little inconvenient that you don't have an on-line wallet. But I understand it that this is made for privacy achievement.

yeah this like monero little brother , (To : dev) u should be more creative to get more attention. I know u want to built better system for the 1st ANN. but , u should think about the community & investor. hope u bring a big project not just bullshit.

I'm haveing some issues sending ombre from my wallet to VIC. Getting : address is not valid  (debug message) length might may need to be set to 99.
Any ideas what might be wrong?
PS. It' not the address hats the issue, have tryed sevral

We are very close to being listed on Stocks.exchange, a few more hours and we should be ready to roll.
In other news the cli and gui wallets for both Windows and Linux seem to be in working order; we have a few more changes we would like to make, but as of right now all the basic necessary wallet functions are in place. The Mac OS version isn't coming along as smoothly though. We hope to get it working as soon as possible.

I recently downloaded the windows GUI wallet, but it seems to be having a issue connecting to network.
Just stays red and i haven't a address in which to send coins to. Where might i find my deposit addy so i can use it to start mining?

The Skynet Ombre Pool is now online using PPLNS payout scheme.
Other features includes the standard email notifications of payments and start/stop of hashing, api access and worker stats.
