When will the wallet be off of maintenance in TradeOgre? It is very important that people can move coins in and out of tha exchange. Dev, you've gotta fix this with the exchange or people will lose interest with Ombre.

AV usually flags wallets.  False positive.  It doesn't sync anyway.  Ombre appears to be abandoned, but who knows.  Saronite was pretty much abandoned and look at it now.

lol, have they still not fixed the syncing problem with the wallet? I used to mine it before, managed to sell a little of it but then the wallet was, well you know. shit coin anyways, think I had 7gpus on for a week and it's worth  about 5 dollars from what I can see on coingecko.

Same as always..."maintenance".

Still, the coin trades a few thousand units nearly every day/every other day at TradeOgre.
(like 3 to 5 dollars worth of volume)

A block is still getting mined about every 60 seconds (avg), day in - day out.
A full block is worth about $0.03 usd right now w/OMB @ ~14 to 15 sats.
Can't really dump it anywhere at the moment. No incoming or outbound at TO.

It's like having coconuts on an island. Trade them for seashells until the rescue team arrives.

Maybe Gilligan and the Skipper will get their sh.t together one day.

I don't think so. AFAIK, @sadbatman created Ombre and did not seem take profit from the coin. He did not claim much about the coin which is totally different than most scam coins do. He could not continue to work on Ombre because of his illness. Hope the coin can return to exchange, I am trying to help. You can follow recent changes on github or ask your questions in https://t.me/joinchat/GS1FBBHCq6u-LdMIUoCjOw. You can claim the coin is not so alive but you cannot claim it is scam, hope you accept the difference.

Ombre is still in development. It is terribly unfortunate that sadbatman cannot continue his work. We all wish him the best and hope he recovers. With that being said, the some members of the community have spoken with sadbatman and he agreed to let someone else continue the work. yoosofan, thank you for your efforts. We have additional people who are working on resolving the security issues so that exchange wallets will be reopened and coin development will move forward. Ombre is taking a big step forward in a few days. The rebase is complete and Ombre is set to fork on block #797770 at approximately 7pm CST on September 20th.

The algorithm will remain cryptonight-heavy for the time being. This fork addresses security issues and allows us to implement additional features in the near future.

The fork was a suscess. Ombre is now on V1.5.0 and the network is working as it should
