It's a great step for bitcoin, it encourages the use of bitcoin as a payment option as people will not be taxed on that whereas they would be taxed if they converted their bitcoin in to euros.

I believe that the Germans are very satisfied with this decision, especially the investors that are making trades and transactions to the FIAT. Most of the investors from the other countries are looking for the backdoor transaction that can free them from the tax system which is inevitable in the end. There are even ATMs which are anonymous but the transaction fee is high. Each country has their own tax system which is higher or lower. _______________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________ Germany is the great supporter of the cryptocurrency and with this fantastic decision, they are only making the benefit for their country in the opposite to the other governments which are greedy and money hungry!

This development is a big step to cryptocurrency. Germany would be a great contributor to cryptocurrency, with this wealthy country able to legalize bitcoin with a tax free currency. Hopefully other nations will follow this step taken by germany to help cryptocurrency grow all over the globe.

Germany is a highly developed country, so accepting bitcoin is a great way to market bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency market. I believe that when countries realize the true value of bitcoin, more and more countries will accept bitcoin in the future.

Its a great way to legalize bitcoin in their country. Since Germany is a well developed country, I think the effect of bitcoin in their place will be good because the people in their country will have a better life and also the poor people will have the capability to earn their own money and get out of poverty.

Most UK countries are recognising bitcoin as legal, in fact, similar news related to this has been declared as early as 2013. If you will check this link, https://www.cnbc.com/id/100971898, it says that bitcoin was recognised in Germany as "unit of account" and that's way back August of 2013. It's a good move and I believe this will impact other country's overview towards blockchain technology. Currently, Thailand had banned bitcoin and US is still investigating it's legitimacy. I hope this news would change their mind.

I think it's very good news. It's a big step for the normalization of bitcoin, and therefore, for the rest of cryptocurrencies. I also think that it's important that it's an economic power like Germany that has taken this step. I hope that other countries in the Eurozone follow suit and that the situation of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general is normalized.

This thing should be adopted or copied by other countries. It will add strength to bitcoin as it will be more popular to many German. Because of this, countries might copied what Germany did to bitcoin. Also, specifying that there would be no tax will make it popular to other people.

That is really a great news for the bitcoin users. I was sure from the beginning that countries will take the positive steps for the sake of bitcoin as the rules of the countries depends on the benefits of the people which is pretty obvious in the use of bitcoin. These types of steps will not only benefit the users of bitcoin but along with that these countries governments will also get more benefits as their people will not face unemployment and will not become a burden on the state.

Another good news indeed, if this adoption can be forecast and be seen by most countries who still not believing or still against bitcoin, then they will realize the real usage of bitcoin, as we knew that those countries who already been into this chain gather great results, japan already been very vocal for accepting bitcoin and if Germany will start to make a big noise about using the chain in their daily transactions, then new momentum will be created, hope those who still in doubt about this investment should change mind and think bigger.

Really great for bitcoin, specially if we consider that Germany pays a very important role in the decisions made by the European Union, so if Germany made that decision, I'm sure many other will follow, so Bitcoin will probably have the doors open in Europe in terms of regulation. If we actually look at it, top world countries are accepting bitcoin well (Japan, Switzerland, now Germany), so things are going well. The United States are decent, but still have a long way to go, and need to change the way they are trying to tax BTC.

Germany seems to have a favorable view of cryptocurrency. My understanding is that in Germany, if you buy something with Bitcoins, you don’t pay taxes on that sell of Bitcoins. In the US, any transaction with Bitcoins is treated like a sell of an asset and is taxable. Also in Germany, if you hold Bitcoins for over a year and then sell, you don’t pay any capital gain taxes. You only pay taxes if you sell short term which is under 1 year.
