First it was Japan and then followed by Germany later. These countries are two of the bitcoin-friendliest countries today by allowing bitcoin to be one of the allowed currency that can be use by their citizens jn thejr transactions. I hope other countries particularly in Asia will follow soon. Most these countries that still reluctant to recognize or legalize bitcoin have been looking for effective regulations to be imposed once they allow bitcoin transactions in their areas.

I would really think that the government of Germany is very good as they truly thinking of their citizen welfare. To think that there are huge opportunity that the government can collect much savings thru Bitcoin tax but still they wave it in their Bitcoin regulation. The German people is very fortunate of having this kind of governance from their government in which we just hope that other countries will follow this pro-people policy.

If Germany has recognized the currency as bitcoin, then other EU countries should also do it.
In practice, this means that the civilized world in the near future is moving to a crypto-currency financial system.

In practice, this means that the civilized world in the near future is moving to a crypto-currency financial system.

I doubt that other EU members should follow suit as well, although that's what we really wanted. Remember back in G20 summit in Buenos Aires, EU members are talking about putting regulations on it and even Germany and France was pushing for a single regulatory body back then.

So we have to wait till July about the final decision of the G20 members. But I have doubts that EU countries will just change their tune because Germany recognises bitcoin. That's not how it works, each nation has its own crypto regulations and as much as we really hope that every nation would be bitcoin friendly, in reality there will still be countries that will opposed it.

Very interesting. the more countries that support and use bitcoin for payment access, it will have a very positive impact on price and bitcoin stability for the future. In addition to Germany, there are still many countries that legalize bitcoin for payment instruments.

Well,That is a good news. Nowadays, the country that accepting bitcoin is increasing. Its means many country appreciating bitcoin and bitcoin is becoming part of the finance government. Its good to hear that germay is trusting bitcoin. for me, the reason why purchasing made for cryptocoins are not taxed because the government does not have control in bitcoin. Even though the goverment can not control bitcoin its good to know that many countries is support and accepting bitcoin in their country and used it as a mode of payment. If many country is starting to accept bitcoin for sure the other country can definitely convince to accept it too.

It is just! Since crypto currency doesn't belong to the government, it should not be taxed at all, however for fiat, it is understandable that the government will take something from you, that they made, since that is how the supposedly "economy" should work, by paying taxes, with this move made by germany, only means that Germany can be considered a safe haven from people who are into crypto currency, hopefully you have a link to share with us.
I also understand that we all want to see this type of ruling globally, hopefully other countries will follow as well and not just think that Germany is doing this, so they pay off their debts, instead others would see this as an opportunity, since Japan had already did this, then Germany, I think they should also ask, what does the two country see and they believe in crypto currency and not just criticize every move made in favor for the crypto market.

I think Germany publishes a document in which crypto currency is not directly recognized as a means of payment. Under the European Court's decision, the German regulator proposes to consider bitcoins and other digital currencies as equivalent conventional payments.

It's a very good news that now most of the developing countries accept bitcoin as legal. So many countries now looking forward about cryptocurrency. This is the good change that and the change will affect many countries. So in future other countries are also have a chance to accept bitcoin as legal. In the same way now germany recognised  bitcoin in their country. The change will reflect in bitcoin price soon there will be a hike in bitcoin price.

That's a really good news, especially that German taxes are already high on other things (I think 60% for salaries?),it's a good move to cancel taxes for cryptocurrency so that they encourage investors to adopt this new technology.
Meh,I wish that more countries doact smart like Germany and support cryptocurrencies.

Edit:Can you give the source please?
