I suppose they don't have a telegram chat, only announcement channel. It's strange, but very convenient for scammers. So the only thing we can do is to warn people through bumping this thread I suppose.

If they have an announcement channel, then that makes it good as long as they are not moderating the topic themselves and removing anyone they feel like. If the OP can get this to the announcement page, then that should really help. It is even the way they usually bounce people from their telegram page is what baffles me, as I have experienced this before.

In fact, it all started by asking questions, and then they ended up giving some flimsy answers, only to find the chat being deleted until I got banned from the group. This one happened recently on one ICO that claimed to be an advert solution ICO.

As the time i saw this thread i joined their telegram group and even direct message the support (campaign manager) in telegram.
@ the telegram group - i pretend to be an investor and asking for the project and plans of ICO, all they gave to me is just an ETH address where to send investment (scam)
then after that, i tried to ask more (didn't send any amount to them) after afew minutes i can't access their group anymore and got kick.

then i tried to DM the support, here i pretended to be a bounty hunter and asking why the ann thread is full of doubt of many people and what will happen to the bounty as i am very active on it. i asked him if the ICO is a real scam, got no answer but another block!


This confirm that this MYRIADS.IO ICO is a pure SCAM!
i also ended up with myriadcoin which is a legit one, i think they get their IDEA there.

I joined their telegram discussion group yesterday when i am talking about the accusations about the project they immediately removed me from the telegram group,what a shame i hope those people behind this scam would burned into hell,,stealing money from people who are working hard is a crime from both the people and to our god,shameless animals in the world.

Thanks for the warning. It is people like this which destroys the trust in cryptocurrency. I know many friends who joined their bounty campaign and some even invested in the ICO. Now, they'll be very frustrated.

All scam projects are using announcement channels as same as myriads one.
Fake people and fake info is totaly sign for scam project. Be aware guys and never invest in a project which is not open to discussion on telegram!

One should probably wait/ask for a working product or proof of code to buy into an ICO. With so many scam ICOs popping up, this bubble is going to burst soon. If people are still investing money into ICOs without doing their research then they are liable for the loss they are going to suffer when these ICOs exit scam.

if they banned you just asking for clarification , then there is no second thought on this scam ..

but they forgot that anyone can expose scam anywhere - twitter / reddit / medium / and specially on bitcointalk forum .

In fact, the first thing that screams scam in any ICO is being banned once you are trying to raise some important issue. A legit ICO will give you all the details you need since they are sure of themselves, but the ones like this ?

They just would not give you that chance to expose them to the public. I wish this can be spread to their announcement page, so that investors will not fall for this. It is just unfortunate it is what the ICO space has turned to.

OP's concern is really not new these days which is why people really need to be very careful and dig properly on any of the ICO team before even trying to invest. It is a shame that the ICO market has come to this and it is even more painful that a lot of investors are still falling for it. The same thing to happen with a project called Adblurb, and it baffles me that, these guys are just bent on polluting the cryptocurrency space the more. We just need to be extremely careful and thanks for sharing this.

It is not a bad news since it is not new. It is just painful that a lot of investors usually do not take the pain and their time to dig properly on the team and the faces of the team before they invest considering that you can easily do Google image search these days, which should even be a start. However, it is still alarming that these guys are still hugely roaming the market and at the end, it just seems that if investors cannot end up playing safe, we just have to stick with the idea of regulation.
