It is because of the reason that every coin which is there in the world of crypto currency has got some specialty and investors invest in any particular coin based on the properties of that coin. All the altcoins are considered as the best coins for the sake of day trading and short term investment of money and that is the reason most of the traders trust them as compared to that of bitcoin for day trading. |

It's true that besides bitcoin here many use altcoins as a trading coin, many people like to use coin altcoins because of the very fast market movements to seek short-term profits, that's one reason.

The risk in altcoin is bigger. The swing of it price is to dangerous. If you just buy coin only depend on price then its just the same as gambling but if you buy altcoins with good reason like its fundamental aspects, then it safer to trade those altcoin is good for you because the coin only has small chance to die. |

I deal mainly with altcoins, since it is really more profitable than bitcoin. I think that the altcoins have more growth potential. The bitcoin is already too expensive and once a lot of times it will not grow. And many altcoins are inexpensive and therefore can well rise in price. |

Alt coins are good for trade because of their lower price levels. Most of the time the ones who trade altcoins make much more profits in their trades than the ones who trade with Bitcoin. Day traders prefer the simple form of trading by simply buying altcoins lower and then they sell them for higher prices. Trading Bitcoin isn't profitable these days if you have low capital, but if the starting capital is good enough then trading it might gain some profits to the traders. Still the profits will be very low as compare to altcoins. |

Some prefer alt coin trading because it's cheapr than bitcoin and can easily generate short term income. However it's not advisable for long term investment because the value's movement is very frequent and it has more chance of being dumped or can go down to zero.

Well basically the current set up we have is that we trade or bitcoin into altcoins, since some alts doesn't have yet their own system of trading fiat directly to their coins. And trading your bitcoin to alts will give you opportunity to increase your btc count and not just the fiat value. Like for me, I was able to double my btc count buy buying altcoins at the bottom prices and trading it back once it went bullish. |

Trading small sums in alt coins is better because some of them have small transaction fees. If you are a beginner in trading you'd usually start with a small sum of money and if you'd try to do trading in BTC you'll get eaten by the fees quickly.

I think that why many invest in altcoins because this are many coins that very cheap and very afordable to invest and have potential to getting higher value when it comes to short trade,i think now bitcoin is very high value this is good for a long term trading.

Considering the price of bitcoin, Bitcoin will be your base for trading and that is the usual pattern traders do they will tend to choose between Bitcoin and Ethereum because this two coins had the most value and a good base for your trading for most altcoins, I can say that Altcoins are only good for tradings.

Certainly. Because altcoin prices are relatively affordable and not only that, altcoin provide a variety of prices and they charge very small transaction fees. But it all comes back to the kind of alt that we choose if they have the potential of course there is an advantage we can get from altcoin.

Because there are some altcoins with good projects and visions that they think will boost up the value of the coin so that they will get some profit. Altcoins are more affordable to buy than bitcoin, so meaning there are big rooms for the value to multiply. But you have to choose the coin you will going to buy very carefully. |

The reasons are many, bitcoin is expensive compared to many if not all other altcoins. If you have the chance to trade with coins which are only a couple of hundred satoshis or $0.10c for example you can trade with quite a lot and potentially make big gains. altcoins are also subjected to pumping as their values and market caps are lower than bitcoin so they are easier to pump. the gains from a small amount of bitcoin would not be as great in general. |

Altcoin is a large amount, which is why you can choose a few for investments that give you the potential to earn. Diversification allows you to make money on several coins, not just on bitcoins. It can give a pretty good profit with less money to invest. |
