Has the fork happened?  I used to mine on http://dcy.crypto-coins.club but the coin yields no profit, you actually lose money mining with a CPU/GPU. 

The coin will not be successful until this is resolved.  In the meantime, wealthy ASIC miners are taking advantage of this coin and stocking up hundreds of thousands of these coins A MONTH.

Second issue, is the new wallet command line only?  I have not come across a simple wallet.  Though I saw a gui windows wallet was mentioned for DinastyToken which brings me to my next question...


Third issue, what is DinastyToken?  is this what the fork is for?  This isn't very clear in the PDF document.  It says 98% premined, so are you ditching DCY?

Actually, i already answered your first question like 2 posts above your post,

but, let me sum it up for you again



As stated in the above picture, the 2.1.4 update was released and "OUR FIRST PLANNED FORK TOOK PLACE AT BLOCK 480000"

if you check our github (link in OP), there is no command line wallet, no simple wallet, only a 2.1.4. GUI Wallet for Windows. It is in BETA and we will release the final version soon. (stay tuned for more informations regarding this)
For 2.1.2 we had a command line wallet, a simple wallet and a final GUI Wallet. In Regards to the fork (which happened some days ago) , we had to release a new wallet.

Regarding the mining - it really depends on your hardware. In one sentence you tell us that the profitability is awful, on the other side, you are telling us that with better hardware (ASIC) you get more coins.  
Welcome to reality Better Hardware = Better Profit. Technical Evolution is a normal and good thing.(see Bitcoin).
Quick Heads Up: The profitability for GPU/CPU miners also went up after the fork.



Also, If you follow the project closely, you would already know, that there are already several use-cases for the coin.
The first tourists are already on their DCY paid vacation. I am doing the same too in july, i will stay at a hotel , visit restaurants and bard and i also rented a boat using dcy.



Since this is the first summer which allows "normal people" use our Cryptocurrency to purchase goods and services, you can expect an incease in the profitability until the next summer.
(If you check our roadmap, we also will expand to other countries). Also, there will be some things that will need to be ironed out until next year. We are happy for every feedback from our community!

To answer your last question - Dinastycoin and Dinastytoken will coexist. Simple as that.
More informations on Dinastytoken will be released in the near future, so stay tuned for more informations.
I know you all want some news on the Token, just a little more patience, but as said, we won´t ditch Dinastycoin, Dinastycoin will stay untouched

Download the Beta Wallet and the Blockchain Backup from our Github
Delete the following files in AppData\Roaming\dinastycoin

DB Folder
blockindexes.bin
blocks.bin
p2pstate.bin

After you deleted the Files, copy the files from the zipped Blockchain backup in AppData\Roaming\dinastycoin

-> Restart the Wallet


We are currently testing a new release , but in the meantime, this will fix your issues!

please backup your wallet, close the GUI Wallet, then delete all files inside AppData\Roaming\dinastycoin, export the blockchain backup downloaded from our github to AppData\Roaming\dinastycoin and start the new wallet 2.1.4. after synced completely, reimport your wallet.
