No, we did not do an ICO and the whole project is like 99% funded from my own funds, which is sometimes a bit stressing, since advertising in cryptocurrency space seem to be very costly. Let's say I think CoinMarketCap could be a good place to advertise the project at, but they require 10K USD minimum. It's a bit of expensive. Maybe you guys know some alternatives to that? Maybe anyone tried getting articles to coin news sites and saw if it was good for volumes?

Just try whatever means accessible to you at the moment. Then this forum might be the answer for that, instead of paying on social medias to advertise your cryptocurrency why not to try making a bounty pool and pay the bounty hunters who joined in every week. twitter, youtube and reddit is the best place to advertise crypto as of now. facebook just banned the posting of ads connected to any ICO.
or just pay some cons to advertise your project.

Yes, but strange thing - I sometimes still see ads of an ICO's on my personal Facebook account. I don't get their policy... When I tried to advertise mine - it didn't allow, yet some ICO's are allowed for some unknown reason.

For people looking to promote Bitcoin, there is a company out there called Honeybadgerofmoney.com currently selling Bitcoin stickers. Ironically, they seem only to be accepting fiat money payments! Maybe I’m wrong, I’ve been wrong before, if I’m wrong again, please correct me. So, why do we not promote cryptocurrencies outside of our own community?
