Hi! How do you think, which places are the best to advertise your cryptocurrency at?

Youtube, Twitter and Facebook seems not to be doing any big changes. We have ordered Youtube Adwords for our video which got us around 40K views; Twitter has Over 5K followers, Facebook has almost 1K followers, but nothing of these types of advertising seem to be doing any good. How do you guys think, what is the best place to advertise cryptocurrency?

Why did not you have a company bounty and which audience are you targeting? With a company bounty, you can do all kinds of advertising, and twitter and facebook and advertising on BTT, content creation, in general, all you need.

Before worrying ( can't find the most appropriate term in eng, " in French it's s'inquieter ) about advertising , you should look attentively to the idea of the project ( or the product/ service you are promoting ) & try " up to the hilt " to modify/improve it

I believe it depends on what the outcome you're looking for. Building communities, you'll use Reddit, Bitcointalk, Telegram, etc. Need some investors, probably media, YouTube, etc. Obviously, this is a general thing to say, then it depends which influences or people will deliver it on these platforms

Telegram in my opinion. All the crypto community is there. At least all the serious players who actually invest money.
And very few projects are advertising there right now, but they will switch I guess.
Steemit is also gaining traction.

The terget audience for cryptocurrencies is here on the forum. Also you may place banners at different sites with ico listings, or coinmarketcap or any similar. You may pay for posts in all kinds of crypto related telegram channels and so on. Everything depends on your budget.

You can try by built web/blog, group/ forum and chat. I believe what you're mention is powerful tools and they have many and different fitur to help you. Maybe your advertise get the wrong audience or has no value, you should analyze and fix it again. Last one ( maybe you already try ), try with premium program/ platform, such as google adwords and fb ads. If not work, hire expert people to do that.

No, we did not do an ICO and the whole project is like 99% funded from my own funds, which is sometimes a bit stressing, since advertising in cryptocurrency space seem to be very costly. Let's say I think CoinMarketCap could be a good place to advertise the project at, but they require 10K USD minimum. It's a bit of expensive. Maybe you guys know some alternatives to that? Maybe anyone tried getting articles to coin news sites and saw if it was good for volumes?

Having a project that has fund coming from your own pocket is really stressing. Yes! CMC is a good place to advertise because they have a nice traffic so whatever you are working with will get a nice impression and view. But if you can't avail to advertise there then you can hire some people to create a blog or an article for what you want to advertise its even cheaper than the usual advertising and it can be published forever.

Anywhere ! Many people use Facebook, Twitter watching Youtube videos, so this is impossible not to be popular.

I do not really know the method of advertising. but the only fastest way is as you say. the internet is the fastest way the most powerful to read by all internet users. google, youtube, and other social media. although now some have forbidden it for advertising ico.
and lastly, bitcointalk is the center of knowledge, discussion and advertising of all crypto.

I think youtube video is quite important, because people can be from a brief video to get information about the ICO project, so I think youtube is the best publicity channels, I suggest you use youtube to promote as much as possible.

I think instagram now is the best way to advertise cryptocurrency. I saw many ICO started to put their advertising in instagram. I don't know they are directly put in instagram or using third party affiliate and the third party will be put in instagram.

But the social media sites are helpful way to promote an ICO. Maybe, you just not see the importance of the social media sites. But the truth is that the investors always look an ICO based on the media sites loke facebook and twitter.
Social media sites also is the trend as of now when it comes in spreading the words or news. However, we cannot assure that our investors may attract in what they see in the site. Probably, if we will advertise ICO, it is good to put in television and news.

Advertisements of cryptocurrency would be better for all the existing social media outlets such as facebook, twitter, Instagram, YouTube, google, bitcoin forum, Yahoo and other existing social media outlets to give awareness to the people who might get interested in investing the cryptocurrencies. I may have not known other crypto except for bitcoin and eth without bitcointalk forum. here, i have explored ICOs and altcoins. Exchangers like kucoin also helped me to knew other coins by seeing prices of each and buy/sell those coins. I agree social media is just the way or a stepping stone for me to enter altcoins by trading coins from bounty until investing in btc and eth.

Why not build a community on telegram, discord, or slack? Word of mouth is still the best form of advertisement for me and that can only be done effectively if you have a strong community.

well all social networks are good to advertise but facebook reddit and instgram are the best platforms to advertise cryptocurrencies.

The best advestisement agency that mostly people watching, are televisions network, and I'm pretty much sure, that if cryptocurrency made an advertisements into televisions networks it will surely increase the percentage of people who wants to access cryptocurrency business, because not all people have a knowledge about cryptocurrency business.
