I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

Well, it all depends on your finances, whether you are willing to risk investing in this project. Indeed, if you like the idea of the project, but still overcome doubts,it is best to buy in the market, and then keep the coin. But the price in the ico, naturally, can be more pleasant, but with more significant risk. Tongue

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Buy during ICO is surely can be more profitable, but also there is very easy to lose your capital. When you are buying from exchange, there is a very small % that coin will be scam. I mean, it can dropped hard, but you can still sell it or just hodl. When you are buying ICO coins, you cannot be sure about this coin at least will be listed on exchange. So there is risk - your pay for a potential hundreds of ROI.

It seems to me better not to risk and buy coins on the market than investing in ICO.

Depending on the mood of the investors but in general recently it seems that it may be better to wait for the market launch unless you are supporting a launch of a service like ZEEX that is really sought for cause right now it is rather hard or expensive to spend you crypto in real world but with ZEEX it was never so easy and cheap

If you buy on pre-sale there is a chance that you will lose all the money
Better to buy coins on the exchange, because the project is already successfully launched and traded

It is better to buy tokens during the pre ICO or ICO since they give reasonable bonus and by this bonus you can make a very good profit in the near future even if you sell directly after finishing ICO project still you can earn with those bonus you earn from buying the tokens.

It all depends on the risk and the opportunity to earn more. You can buy during the ICO and during the market. The difference is. If you buy during the ICO is a big risk, but you can make good money. If you buy during the market, the risks are minimal and you can earn less.

Sometimes it is a real problem for current project. Devs can block token sales on for 6 month or more to avoid it.

It happens in different ways, but if ICO gives a good bonus, 40-60%, then you can safely take it. Although now almost all the coins are falling in price when they appear in the exchangers.

Investing in ICO is more profitable and risky, and buying coins in the market is less risky.
Yes, in most cases it is possible to buy tokens on the exchange after ICO at a price lower than it was on the ICO, but it happens otherwise. If the project is really good and collected on the ICO Hard Cap in a few hours, then the coins of such a project after entering the exchange will not exactly cost cheap and at best they will be purchased at a price several times higher than they were on the ICO. Therefore, there must be a selective approach.

Basically, it all depends on where the market is moving at the moment. For example, during the last six months the market fell and all the tokens that appeared on the stock exchanges also began to fall strongly. But now everything must change the other way.

You'll never know for sure if some project succeed or not before it lists on an exchange and start trading with good daily volume. But this risk is fully compensated by succeed projects where you got in during ICO/preICO. So I prefer to take risks and invest in at ICO stage.

At the moment, where the whole market is on a big dump, I prefer to not invest in ICO's.  Undecided Because when the new coins or tokens get listed while the market is still in the dump, the chance that the coins will lose their value is very high.
So at the moment, there are some ICOs running im interested in, but i dont invest and wait...

i would still recommend to buy in ico because ico provide cheap and low price. now we do not have to be glued to the exchanger but look at the increase in the price of the coin. so in ico not a problem when we get a potential coin.

it's the truth, very often this happens, mainly because of bounty hunters as you pointed out. But if no one would buy in ICO, there wouldn't be anything after that. Maybe the best strategy is to support the project through ICO and then buy the rest after the ICO when the prices dip

In General, it all depends on the project itself - an excellent project will not traded below the ICO price, in this case, buying on the market will be much more expensive. Coins on the exchange might have multiply in price from their ico price but it is safer.

If you do not want to risk, the safest option is to buy coins later on the market.  But you will get fewer coins.

As for me, if you are confident in the company, it's worth investing in ICO to get more coins at a lower price.

Seeing that the prices of the coins are lowered during icos in order to get people interested in it, your best bet would be to buy the coins during the ico period before they get listed on the exchanges.
