we can see the ICO has the potential of success or not by reading their roadmap and their whitepaper which could give us some information. and if we can talk with the dev and the team about their project so we can get much of information that will useful for us to make a decision. This would depend on the project and how solid it is, many times when an ICO hits an exchange it will fall below the ICO price as there will be people that invested just for a quick profit and they will sell off their tokens along with the bonus they might have got.

If you find a decent ICO that has a great development team behind it along with great community feedback then you might not get the ICO price again.

I think not like that, if you buy in ico, tend to get token with certain bunus. so, there is no buying size in the market any better.
but if you've invested in atlcoin, and now it's down sharply, the best way to recoup it. by purchasing with an amount greater than before. I think this will save you.

In my experience I don't think that buying at the ICO price is always cheaper. I have seen that whenever the ICO launches on exchanger it doesn't surely gives you price of token more than ICO price. Many times it happens that the coin prices drop to below the ICO price and thus making it worse for those who bought at ICO sale. This is not the case which we can call as rare but it always keeps happening because many times people who bought at ICO sale go crazy selling their coins when it is on the exchanger. So we may need to change thinking that the buying at ICO sale is very profitable.

In my opinion, the cheapest way to have a coin from ICO is during the pre-sale period, since they are giving discounts during that time. But you can buy anytime you want, it's just that when the coin has already been listed tot he market then the price is a little bit higher now.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

As per my view, it is better to buy from market now as many ICO's are listing below their issue price due to market volatility. When their is no volatility then buying through ICO is best and try to buy in Pre-ICO to get cheaper then other investors.

Buying in ico is the best way to gain a profit... you can buy in ico at a cheaper price among in the market after the ico I'm pretty sure their price will pump.

Buying a token from ICO is very profitable especially when the bonus is high, but the only issue is when you're buying to sell immediately when the coin are listed is never encouraged because the price might even 2 or 3 time low than the ICO price itself. The mist encourage idea is buying to make long-term profits... You are going to moon.
On the other hand, buying from market is also profitable when you buy during the dip market.
But the best time for me is ICO purchasing.
