Maybe these ICOs were run by unknown individuals in the cryptoworld trying to earn huge money. They don't have enough experience or knowledge yet about digital currency investing projects. Some ICOs are successful so there might be something that was done wrong.

Last year was the year of ICOs, a lot of people took big profits but this year things look very dark, apart from a few exceptions like Quarkchain, most tokens you buy during ICO are getting dumped on the exchanges. How much ICOs turned out to be scam in 2017? I don't remember the exact number but it is something like 60%. And now think about how much ICOs you should invest in to gain profit in just mathematically way.

i think the cause why ICO not profitable anymore is not only people get rush with dumping their tokens because they want instant money but other cause is this year we're face up downtrend which is most of major altcoin such as ETH will fall too and last year very different that most of altcoins has been reach the highest price with automatically tokens price also will high above to ICO price

Do not invest all the money in one project and one coin! It is necessary to diversify your investments! But now many projects are falling in price after entering the stock exchange.

Sorry to hear this but this warning has been given by many on countless occasions, invest what you can afford to loose no matter what the promise they give you. Also please, never pour out all you funds and everything penny you've got into one thing- it is very risky (don't put all your eggs in one basket)

I am sure that many people are giving up at this very moment, I know that there is a lot of money to be made but it seems there is a big manipulation going on in the market and people will eventually get tired of losing money, this is a shame since there are some projects that are very good but even they will suffer when most members of the forum lose their faith and then decide to only invest in safe coins like bitcoin.

Maybe I give up earning money from ICO when the time that there is no one can earn and get profit from ICO. This is one of the best way to earn money in ICO that is free sometimes and without paying any fees from it. I think I will continue my support in ICO because I know that this is the future and can get more money and joining the community of it can helps you gain more confident by doing your own knowledge in the crypto world. I will never give up on this kind of project.
