Sure, I'll just give Trump a call and arrange a negotiation. He likes negotiations. He makes good and big negotiations. Always good terms. Always good terms.

What if people convince governments of their nations to make Bitcoin as a legal currency or what if we agree to give tax on our bitcoin income?

Certainly a viable solution. It is the only way to make bitcoin legal is by giving the government taxes from our earning via bitcoin. There should be enough consensus among bitcoin traders and miners (on different countries) what percent is taxable and viable for us. I know some government may induce high taxes which are not or seems viable.

Will government then make Bitcoin a legal currency.

Yes, If bitcoin was taxable then the probability of bitcoin being legal is high.

Government are so afraid to legalise bitcoin because of the anonymous transaction as most see it way of laundering and promoting shady deal.

Thats what the government are trying to eliminate when legalizing bitcoin. Majority of bitcoin user are legal people and only a bunch of user do transact illegally.

If people started doing petition and gathering signatures for everyone, create a proposal and submit it to official concerns, and do follow up, then I thinks some changes and suggestion front he government might come!

This is somewhat unrealistic. The government itself has a rough idea about bitcoin and it is difficult for us to interfere with these people. Of course, if you are a member of the government, then you have the ability to do this.

Our government never really negotiate with citizens. State even wanted to ban bitcoin and jail its users, but they realized that such decision will cause massive disobey and havoc, thats why they are waiting. State consider us as slaves here

Agree or not, they will find a way to tax Bitcoin users, probably by taxing the exchanges. However, I think governments would like to create their own blockchain than using bitcoin, if one day they decide to legalize cryptos.

Good thing in my Country it is not banned. The cryptocurrency which includes the BTC can be considered as a knowledge and technology at the same time. It is also governed by evolution even though it is not part of the natural ecosystem. So eventually, in the lone run, it will have an effect on many aspects of the society itself. The nations who do not have it banned at present, are very fortunate, as the members of their population who are interested in it would start learning it, the secrets it holds, and the science behind it, which would be an advantage for that nation. If that time comes, and the BTC becomes Globally accepted, then the nations who have it banned at present, would decide to "unbanned" it, and by then it would be too late for them. Because their population needs to learn it. Think of it this way, if we can classify the BTC industry for particular nations, in relation to being a 3rd world, 2nd world, or 1st world countries, it would be the same thing for the BTC. While most nations who at present do not have the BTC banned in their countries, by the time it becomes globally accepted, these countries would be classified as 1st world countries when it comes to BTC. For those who have it banned at present and decide to "unbanned" it in the future they would start off as 3rd world or even 4th world countries when it comes to BTC. Similar to what happened in my Country, the Government failed to accept Science, and failed to give a bigger budget to the Department of Science and Technology, and so now, instead of making the necessary equipments we need, or our nation needs, we buy it from other countries. The sole reason why we remain a 3rd World. It is not even the people who are the politicians who suffer from these, even though they are the people making decisions and allocating budgets, it is the population who suffers. Thus, for the BTC, early acceptance would be very beneficial in the long run.

If the government accepts Bitcoin as a legitimate currency, it will be a good thing for Bitcoiner. Bitcoin prices will go up quickly as the government accepts and supports it as a legitimate currency.

I think it's not as simple as you think. in essence, the government has an interest in the country's politics. there are various factors that make the ban issued. we already know clearly some governments forbid, and the factor is not just one. but there are many factors. so I think not all cases in a country will be the same

The government do not negotiate about taxes, because it is protected by laws. If you do not pay your taxes, the law will force you to pay fines and/or jail time for tax evasion. Governments can only be forced to do what you want, if you use your vote.

If your government does not support Bitcoin, simply stop voting for them in the next election and get all other people around you to stop voting for them too.

If thats happen then we are all be very happy with that news. Maybe in the future government will surely aprove bitcoin as a legal currency since they cant control bitcoin even they wanted it too.

the government actually understands about bitcoin, so it's not necessary to persuade him to cheer up the bitcoin. Just wait for the right time to actually receive the bitcoin as a transactional tool in their country.

if in developed countries and societies more disciplined as in the country of japan. I believe, the government will be friends with bitcoin. because of its human resources that can offset any interests and restrictions that should not be done. this is different from the emerging countries, as in many Asian countries. very difficult, because crypto will potentially abuse, such as money laundering and other crimes.

I guess it wont happen so soon, like you can't trust Government same way you can't trust people. What is the guarantee people will let Government know how much they are holding in their wallet? In current strict banking system we have seen people hiding billions of dollars in foreign banks. When you have bitcoin it will be more easy to hide money.

Reason is simple Government's worry is 100% true! Yes  there are people who want to use the system fairly but at the same time there are many tax evading organizations and people, black money, terrorist funding and this worry list goes on and on.

Unless we find a solution to these problems! Crypto currencies are still evolving still. So if bitcoin is able to answer such questions definitely, many Governments will start accepting it's presence.

On other hand may be Government's can launch their own crypto currency and standardize KYC procedures all over the world like we have standards for Passports. But if that is the case then what will be the difference in current Fiat Money and Government's Controlled crypto currency.

Government are so afraid to legalise bitcoin because of the anonymous transaction as most see it way of laundering and promoting shady deal.
What if governments somehow manage to link our unique id with Bitcoin wallet and bank account. Or what if government manage to make such crypto wallets which can record the transactions details.
Like every time we use internet we registered our devices with its unique MAC address and IP address so government can use those IDs to track transactions.

1. Yeah, like fiat, it's not easy for governments to track the movement of decentralized currencies to tax it, but still with stricter rules and regulations, the governments could track crypto to fiat conversions through exchanges, South Korea barring anonymous crypto trading, Coinbase IRS notification, Indian tax department sending tax notices. Governments don't have to accept Bitcoin as a legal tender to tax it.

2. With the fiat system in existence, would any government give legal status to a decentralized currency? Not likely, but yeah, recognizing and regulating Bitcoin as a commodity is a sure possibility.

3. A unique ID and a unique wallet linked to the bank account to track all Bitcoin transactions. A lot more than pseudo-anonymity, Bitcoin is about having total control over your money, you absolutely own it, you can spend it or move it whenever you like. What would be the difference between Bitcoin and fiat if government controls it? Why do we need it?

In the beginning, governments totally ignored the existence of Bitcoin, but now a lot of governments are trying to regulate and integrate it into their financial system. What forced some governments to ban Bitcoin is what is making others regulate it, the adoption rate has increased tremendously, more and more people are getting into Bitcoin daily, more Bitcoin related business are getting launched. There is no negotiation, as adoption increases more governments will take a positive approach and a few the negative route.

Japan already did. And there's no regulation that happened because Japan knows the positive effect that bitcoin can bring to their economy.

But I don't like the idea of convincing government though. We have our freedom, why the government needs to curb or stop this new monetary revolution? I guess regulations is the only solution here. And its gonna be win-win situation for both the population, economy of the country (more purchasing power to the people) and the government putting taxes on cryptos.

your way of thinking is wrong in my opinion.
we shouldn't seek or beg the government to do what we want. if they are not doing it already then they are the wrong government that we chose. we should make a better choice next time then.
and it is not just about taxes. the  countries that are not very corrupt have already adopted bitcoin and made it legal and have a clear tax laws that people don't oppose. and those that are corrupt like India are fighting bitcoin and no matter what you do they will fight it.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

That is actually a good idea, the problem is, had it been that easy as posting - many would have done it many years ago!
It's not too easy of a task, it is too taxing.
On another note, Philippines have hosted the "Blockchain and Bitcoin Conference" making the Philippines as the first country in Asia to address the growing interest in the cryptocurrency sector.
https://calvinayre.com/2018/01/15/conference/manila-turns-spotlight-cryptocurrency-blockchain-bitcoin-conference-philippines/

Legalizing bitcoin and alts may be a matter of time now in the Philippines
