As of now, bitcoin is a legal currency since it can be exchange to any currency and can be use to buy and any physical substances or food. I think bitcoin is already recognize as a currency. In this way government can already impose taxes on what you bought using bitcoin and maybe they can impose taxes on what you have on your cryptocurrency wallet on a yearly basis like you savings account, time deposit account or investments. That all what I think it will happen if the bitcoin will be regulated by the government.

What if people convince governments of their nations to make Bitcoin as a legal currency or what if we agree to give tax on our bitcoin income? Will government then make Bitcoin a legal currency.
It's very easy to say but it's not that easy to convince any government that only look at Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency on its bad side and not the technology or good things that it can improve. We have to accept that there are countries that are closed for any negotiation about legalizing cryptocurrency because it is a threat to them. Voluntary paying taxes? I don't think it will work, Lets say people that are investing/trading in Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies agreed to pay their taxes from their earnings, will all people be honest on how much they really earn? I don't think so because it is easy to deny how much Bitcoin you have earned and don't expect people to be honest especially when it comes to money.

I think our governments are not worrying about how to collect tax from users but they are worrying about this currency is more used in illegal activities, funding to terrorism and money laundering. So if you give any explanation they will not convince and they will not make cryptocurrency legal until they get a solution for there problems.

It is not as simple as that . A lot of politics is also related to this process and according to the government it is against their protocol to ditch their own fiat .
They would obviously try their best that their fiat does not get affected at any cost and moreover acknowledging people about the usage of bitcoin will also be a big thing to achieve in that scenario.

Do you think the government listens to people? Lol! Where have you seen a country where people are happy with the actions of the government? In order to achieve the legalization of cryptocurrencies, people must unite and demand that the government fulfill its requirements. Governments understand only the language of ultimatums. But the bitcoin community is very divided in order to be able to claim anything.

Welcoming the bitcoin community is very important because the government holds all authority if it has reached a harmonious agreement that will be the foundation for bitcoin in the future if the legal bitcoin in a country will become the most popular crypto then never shy. to discuss because of a discussion about the right solution to any problem

This will be really very good if the people from the G20 group start talking about the crypto currency and not banning it. Because the news of G-20 and its agendas are discussed world wide and this will curb the notion of the people who think that bitcoin is nothing but a fraud or a Ponzi scheme, so at least this stigma from the bitcoin will be over with many new potential buyers of the bitcoin in the market.

Bitcoin has already been accepted in many countries and the cryptocurrency production has even been taxed. Of course, traders have been taxed too. The only thing not known is how they will find these people.

Government will not make it a legal currency but it will remain running because many people are already into this cryptocurrency thing and the government can't do anything to stop and some other countries already developed and advertising cryptocurrency.

It's not about technical point of view but the agenda of the government is not positive towards anything that takes away power from them and distributes to the users. As we all know that, Bitcoin is based on blockchain technology which relies on the principle of decentralization, it takes away power from the government and distributes it to the users. This process not only eliminates the excessive cost and time but also the need of the third parties like banks and government to do the things for us.

Well, we will have to go back why Bitcoin was created. The concept of decentralization would be invalidated if we tax Bitcoin. It would contradict the very core of Bitcoin which is to be away from taxes and government policies.

Depending on the country. Only few countries listens to its people. It doesn't matter how many people agrees to it, what matters is if that thing will be beneficial in the economy. Even if people agrees to tax Bitcoin, will the government agrees to it? There are some reason why the government won't, it has been discuss countless times. Maybe in the near future when Bitcoin has proven itself enough, we won't need the people to make the government accept Bitcoin.

I agree on putting taxes for the bitcoin users because it can helps the economy but the government don't know how to implement it although there's a lot of regulations they planning but there are also some irregularities of it.

Well do that if you wanted. Government might follow that. Government only cares if people paying taxes. So it might be a good idea if we do that. Government will never prohibit us from bitcoin.
