If the government will make bitcoin as a form of legal tender, they will absolutely create a division that will mine those bitcoin. A government owned currency should have backed by several coins in order to balance the circulation just like what they are doing in the fiat. But I think that is the main problem why government coundn't recognize bitcoin as a form of legal tender. because they have no control over it, the inflation could happened in that case. Or the hyper price of each coin could be attained which will make new people getting hard to grasp in the crypto world.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I think if ever the people and the government would have a talk about Bitcoin legal status, it would be a great help and a win win solution, If only we are listening and understanding each other's points of view and perspective, then we will be able to come up with a great action plan that will benefit us all, not just some people but all. Let us put aside our differences and talk, listen and truly understand. Bitcoin is a great innovation that can help all of us, but then yes, it will have a great effect on some businesses, plus, it cannot be controlled, that is why there are some people using it for bad activities so if ever we meet, and have some regulations around it, implement it to everyone, then I think we call all maximize the fruits of Bitcoin together.

It is impossible for governments to use bitcoin as legal tender, and even if it compares with the special currency, it will not be possible to replace the legal tender. Because bitcoin is a global circulation, if a government takes bitcoin as a legal currency, the government is likely to lose control of the country's economy, which the government does not want.

What if people convince governments of their nations to make Bitcoin as a legal currency or what if we agree to give tax on our bitcoin income? Will government then make Bitcoin a legal currency.
Hehhe, I dont know about other countries, but in my country it is not that easy to tell the governments what is your idea for them. It is almost impossible to reach out to the highest guy in our area and most likely he wont listen to you, lol.

And how are you going to give the tax; is it by personal willingness or you sunmitigated your wallets for them to calculate your total income.
I think this is not necessary. It is up to the government to analyse the impact of crypto on their econony and then make their decision to accept it or not.

no, it's not really possible as we should have to make a system or someone who could represent Bitcoin, but the idea behind bitcoin is that it's decentralized and for everyone so it will not longer really be what it was suposed too, the only way would be that the government decide it from their ends

If I give them taxes, I'm sure the government will agree with the use of bitcoin as a medium for transactions. maybe not as the country's currency, but at least bitcoin gets recognition from the government.

its a welcome idea, some countries are on it already. but i dont think most  govenment will wanna accept this considering the high rate of crime perpetrated with this coin. i mean the  "bad people". they use bitcoin for illegal activities.

I think it will be difficult, because the government has set its own rules about the currency, be it a national currency or a digital currency ..!

It is very possible. If the government and bitcoin make a deal and make clear rules about it.

Depending on what country you're talking about, the laws vary on how Bitcoin is either regulated or ignored or banned all together. If we use America as an example it is not considered as a legal currency, rather it is considered an asset that holds value, and which is therefore taxable.   Considering it legal tender is far from happening as when it does it can then compete and be placed and the same value category as the US dollar is.

I think it could happen. provided mutual benefit between both parties. government and BTC. The process is very very not easy to accomplish.
must translate the rules in force in that country. and fully controlled. If the partnership happens, of course good news

I think negotiation is not needed here. Because it is impossible and the government will never accept Bitcoin

I also think that it is not necessary to negotiate with the government if the government prohibits Bitcoin, we can still buy and hold Bitcoin until the government accepts Bitcoin. I believe they will recognize Bitcoin's direct value in the coming months

Making bitcoin legal in any Countries in the world by negotiating with government may be very good but on the other hand bitcoin is a decentralize currency with no government have control over it. If government have no power over it, then how can then monitor the inflow and outflow so that they can place task on it? Paying task may not be possible.

It is not easy to negotiate with the government about accepting bitcoins. Now that the government is still suspicious that Bitcoin will ruin the economy they are building, and they always think that bitcoin is not an asset.

in fact that's where the problem is, the tax will make the government make money and build its country, so I might agree if bitcoin is legalized and may be subject to an asset tax like gold, anyway this is also for the good of the country itself.

With the popularity of the blockchain, the government will change its attitude towards BTC!
Try to use BTC to trade with the government, which will make the government slowly realize the advantages of BTC! Slowly open the BTC transaction!
The government will allow Bitcoin to be open the BTC transaction if they truly realize that Bitcoin is beneficial to them. But I think Bitcoin will not be allowed to open the BTC transaction because Bitcoin is still very volatile and Bitcoin prices are always manipulated by whales.

Maybe the government is studying the blockchain and the crypto currency. The decision is not that easy and fast since there will be a lot of debates about it. But if they will legalize bitcoin I hope they will not make the tax so high.
