It is logical movement. When people have raised some money, due to the BTC price increase, they are selling their BTC and buy some alts, that have not pumped yet, with the hope, to get more profits. It does not work every time, but it is a great strategy.
Yes you’re right but I don’t usually do that. When the price of Bitcoin pumps and I make profit and withdraw my profit, I will immediately look for some altcoins to invest little of my money with hope that that altcoin will have a price increase at any time soon. But I don’t sell off all my Bitcoin, I still leave some of them cause I can’t predict what might happen next.

When Bitcoin begins to rise, most of the money in the market will flow into Bitcoin. This is also called "blood sucking" by some people. This is an interesting word. When the bloodsucking effect begins, other Altcoins funds will be drawn to the BTC. The end of all this is when bitcoin reaches a high point, the profitable funds in these bitcoins will be withdrawn and put into other Altcoin, which will push Altcoin up and complete the bull market.

So I started noticing a pattern.
Everytime the market goes to the moon, the down trend lasts for a several weeks. Meaning, only when Bitcoin it's going to be at it's highest, the altcoins are going to be at the lowest point.
Then, the money from Bitcoin will start going to the Altcoins, making them going up even more.

Have you noticed the same thing?

I think to me many altcoins follow the same movement with bitcoin, when the price of bitcoin goes up most altcoin prices will follow up, the same thing happens when the price of bitcoin falls.

Indeed, such a situation has already been repeatedly noted in the modern crypto market. When the BTC starts to go up, the altcoins position also begins to improve. When the BTC becomes more expensive, the investor receives additional money. He can distribute this money for the purchase of various promising altcoins, which positively affects their price.

Yes, that is true. But sometimes, when bitcoin is up, the altcoin is got down for a while. I see this in a few days ago when bitcoin makes a little correction (if I am not wrong) and this makes the altcoin down for a moment and still down when bitcoin is bounced back. But after a few hours later, the altcoin trying to reach the price before. The market now is unpredictable because sometimes the changing of every coin is not just followed with the bitcoin, but I think the altcoin wants to make a pattern as the OP said.

There's no secret in your observation. The problem is the market is unpredictable. This year there won't be such a sharp and strong growth as it was last year. That situation was exclusive! So look at the charts, observe the market, and adapt to the situation!

Cycles are bullshit. A history can't predict a future. Just use risk/reward model for your in crypto and don't lean on past events

I completely agree with your observation . This is a very real and normal situation on the market. The price of altcoins is very dependent on the price of bitcoin. And only at steady state, altcoins go up in price.

The price of altcoin is affected by Bitcoin so even if the price goes up, the price of altcoin go down. The price of cryptocurrency tokens is unpredictable and cannot be really spectulated.

I think it is a difficult time for altcoins and bitcoin too because as long as bitcoin won't go up then altcoins also will stagnate. I think we need to be more positive about crypto and it will go up soon.

agree with you, for now it is difficult if Bitcoin or Altcoin soars immediately because when the market is very bad. with this condition we can only wait patiently to wait for the expected time. be patient and always optimistic that the market will soon rise again, sooner or later it will return to normal. be calm and always positive so that you are easier to think because being uncomfortable will make you choose the wrong choice.

Perhaps to some extent there is a trend between them, but I also believe that it is impossible to predict up to 100% guarantee. It is no longer stable and not as predictable as possible we would like

I think that this pattern exists for a reason, but it is not always . Therefore, not only this factor affects the price of altcoins. And the market is very unpredictable, many factors have the influence and manipulation of market value

i agree that there is a pattern but i don't think every altcoin work that way, that is a common fact that almost everyone know, however the price movement is so hard to predict

It is true! Bitcoin is the source of USD value of alternative coins.
Most altcoins has its BTC value in the market.
The BTC value depends in USD.
this will connect everything why altcoin price goes up when bitcoin go to the moon.

This connection is obvious for everyone because BTC's dominance has not been moved outside of the work so the influencing effect of this coin is here.

I agree but this thing is too obvious from my point of view. What is more it doesn't work always because there are a lot of situations with the common growth of coins.
