Is product important for a project?

Product is a backbone of project. Let's take an example of ICO.
I run an ICO for raising funds for developing a platform for connecting handcrafted manufacturers with blockchain technology but i am showing MVP or prototype to the public than how people invest money into my project. As we know in crypto two thing matters product and utility token. When people invest BTC than they get utility token in terms of it. but if there is no product than what is the fun of having utility token with us.

I don't think so that product is needed for ICO project. I think there is a need strong development team, previous experience related to their project, responsible roadmap, a clear concept about their project and so.

humm may not need to consider the project team or the whitepaper when looking in the hundreds of ICO projects. I find it best to look for projects that already have products available, experience their products, which is the fastest way to identify a potential project.

Very important because most time it is the product that the project is offering that determines the kind and calibre of investors that they are going to get in the project. It does not matter how hard they are working if they are not offering a good product that people are going to be using for years to come then the coins are going to die out
