Update: Reducing price significantly due to recent run-up in Bitcoin price - now $2200

Please see Bitmit.net listing: https://www.bitmit.net/en/item/69872-2012-macbook-pro-15-retina-2-7ghz-i7-16gb-ram-768ssd-ac (for escrow) - non-escrow reduce the price $100, and can provide all

Immaculate condition, no scratches, dings, or dents (same as from the store)

Always in hardshell case, no scratching what-so-ever.

Purchased from Park Meadows Apple Store August 2012, with 3-year Applecare Warranty (this is transferrable, and you will be able to have it serviced through August 2015)

Absolutely fantastic speed and performance.

Original box and accessories, power-supply is less than 3 months old (replaced by Apple after the first one melted?!)

Can meet in person anywhere in the Denver Metro-area for serious buyers.

Pictures available on request.

CASH or BITCOINS ONLY - NO TRADES. Discount for buyers who want to pay with BITCOINS.

Reputation: I have an eBay account with over 400 positive feedback, and can photograph the laptop with your username for verification purposes, etc.

Due to the value of this item, I can also provide a scanned copy of my passport, drivers license, etc. with verification of address etc.

$3250 $2200 or ~11 BTC, this configuration (with AppleCare is $3,548.00 on Apple.com, before sales tax)

So what you're telling me in your advert is I an get the same machine for $3500 on Apple Store and you're providing a near $300 discount. Wow.

Only...

Wait...

You have a machine that is over 1 year old.

I think you should change your pricing.

I just did ran it through the website: configured the same, with 3-years of AppleCare: $3548.00.

Plus sales-tax (shipping is free from Apple), so in my zip-code Apple wants to collect $270.36 as well, so roughly 7%. Much higher in some other parts of the country, lower in some, and if your in Europe much higher.

So $3,818.36 - without a shell-case (which isn't perfect, but I'll include it)

So at $3250, that's 15% off (for an immaculate product) with original packaging, which I think more than covers the depreciation of a year, and 1 year of AppleCare.

Also at the current exchange rate ~$126.00/1BTC, @25BTC, that's $3150, that's 17% off, and if you think BTC will continue to appreciate as I do you might be able to negotiate a deal.

Perhaps you should make an offer before you comment on a price and try to convince other's they're getting a bad deal.

Threadcraps like these are why you shouldn't post a topic in Marketplace if you don't/can't activate self-moderation for it. Learned that the hard way, and had to repost my ads that I created before I got to the self-mod allowed user rank.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

Thanks TheButterZone, I agree. And yes that refurb is a good deal! If someone can get it - they should take it, I just know that this particular configuration isn't around a lot so... I'm negotiable.

They still have to pay sales-tax on that one as well...
