As all of you know that the value dropped from a solid $11.5k to $9.5 recently. Could BitMex, the trading platform for bitcoin on other cryptos, where some users who had difficulty logging into its platform be one of the reasons for it? 

This is another negative nay sayers of bitcoin that imposes fear to many investors. This is too much drag to the pit..prediction such as this is are for sure has been gone and sold out all ready today. That is good, because bitcoin is not for naysayers and disbelievers. Bitcoin is for achievers and patient individuals.

Small investors definitely fell the fear of losing their investment due to a big fall in the price 11 or 12 k drop is a very big fall in the price. 2018 till date is not a good year for bitcoin because the investors have lost their money. Besides 2017 was very good for bitcoin and people have made a lot of money in the previous year. May it rise again in the future.

If they cannot log in then the value should be increasing for a lot of bitcoin is on hold.
I dont think that is the problem here.
It is fluctuating and a lot of altcoins are being pulled by it too.
$2k difference is not so new now. In fact, it is a low amount compared to what is lost just a month ago.

Youre right but i dont think it will drop down deep as to that. Many were speculating worst and not seeing the positive movements. In the past weeks eveb with all this negativity bitcoin stayed afloat and show increase on the contrary of what they are stating. In fact yesterday it surpasses my expectation of reaching ang 8k value in the market even with the attacts that it faces world wide. This is a clear message that many investors and people are opening their eyes into the relevance and positive impacts of bitcoin in the society. We must continue to support and believe in bitcoin because this situation is clear point that bitcoin is the next big thing.

We saw that some months ago the price reached about 19k dollars which was the highest price in the past 9 years of bitcoin. Now you are right that 2k is not a big fall because already the price has dropped almost 12k in the past few months. So we should not be panic about this fall and it may regain its value in the coming months. We should wait for some time.

Yes bitcoin price increase again and I don't think it will go down to $2k. Let's hope for the best on bitcoin price since these are our reason's to hold on to have profit. Many factors affecting price but as observation today it will increse.

Actually the thread deals with the variation of 2000$ from 11,000$ to 9000$ and not bitcoin price will move to 2000$.

bitcoin still increase and decrease at this moment and I think it will like this in this months and I think the price will increase more than $15k in the next month. we almost break $9k and I think it will happen in the next weeks so we can have a chance to increase the higher price but we still need careful if there are any bad news in out there, the price will be down again.

when bitcoin prices have dropped below $ 3000, I think there will be panic, and maybe a lot of people will sell the bitcoin they have. but, some may use it to buy large amounts of bitcoin, it will be very profitable when the price goes up to $ 5000 or more. but for now, I do not think it will happen.

no one expects it like that, but we just have to be prepared if it happens. although it's an opportunity to buy lots of bitcoins, but we also need to see an opportunity to sell the bitcoin we had before it happened. but, I think the bitcoin price will still go up beyond the $ 8k price.

Total market capitalization is at 320 billion dollars at the moment. The market cap has declined by 120 billipn dollars over the past 30 days, constituting a value loss of about 26 percent, I would call that a bad month.
I thought price will slowly recover, but new dip was around the corner waiting for us. Where will be the bottom of this drop I can't say, maybe we will see 5000 dollars again, it's hard to discus about what will whales do next, continue with sell off, or they will change tactic. I believe its just some manipulation with price, nothing bad happened, on a contrary there are some good news this days, and price is going down.
People should hold tight to bitcoin in this troubled days, shorting now is for people with insider informations, selling now and buying on 5k again sounds like a good idea, but price can surprise us and jump up.

I have also see this line of market behavior in stocks, forex,  bonds and cryptocurrencies market and I think the world economic is in serious recession.  Bitcoin dropping by $2,000 in the next three months is going to push it price to $1,000.
