The major reason isn't on a exchange isn't the pool for BLC, there is no block explorer and no services/products to back it up at the moment.

on cryptsy I was told it was down to issues with the new exchange code and they have not added any new coins yet?

"no services/products" most new coins don't even have a planed use for them at least with Blakecoin we do have a plan for its use with our MMO games but with just two developers on the game and just me on Blakecoin things can take some time, I also need to be available for other work so I can pay the bills 

if the pool/block explorer/services/products are not out fast enough then get involved and make it happen faster by putting in some time to work on bugs or encouraging others to help out with software etc.

Your MMO ? Any other info you can tell on your project ? I am interested in cryptocurrencies and games as i am looking for integrating cryptos in Unity, maybe to create interesting games involving cryptocurrencies or where you can use altcoins in some way. Creating a cryptocurrency just for one game imho is too much, but it really fascinates me.
