The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

There will never be stability as long as a few players can crash the market at will. "Stability" requires a solid foundation. I.e., less uncertainty about future market movement.

An appropriate analogy to the current situation would be living in a house of cards or playing late game of Jenga.

Lol if the US defaults on its debt than BTC will go to the moon. Is that stability?

this is not stable.  Miners are mining at 20-30% faster rate than expected but price is stable or slowly rising...

just the calm before the storm, as they say. the SR flash crash showed us the current sentiment-- that the bottom of this market will drop out immediately given a catalyst. just waiting for it, here.

No, the SR flash crash showed us the opposite - that sudden news will shake the market but the price will stay steady anyway. We bounced right back to where we were before the SR news, it shows just how strong the current price is.

I voted LOL.

There's always something waiting around the corner that might have a major impact on the exchange rate.

I don't know if the price will go up or down, but it's easier to think of things that might make it go up: Just imagine somebody like Amazon suddenly accepting BTC...

I call slow growth for the next 5 months. In this period, the price will double (so 260-300 USD)

This poll should have a time limit, otherwise when the next drop (and the rise after the drop) comes (IMO soon) it will be moot.

Sometimes, if it looks too bullish, it's actually bearish
