Bitcoin might continue Bear market for another 1-2 months?????

I was thinking we’d seen the worst but it doesn’t look like we’re out of the woods yet. There seems to be a concerted effort to keep the price down unforrunately.

Bitcoins keeps on dumping though we heard a lot of good news around the world, someone is working on this dump. I expect bitcoin to bounce 2-3mos and hopefully this is not the end of cryptocurrency.

I believe so, seeing that there aren't any signs that we have already broken any major resistance up ahead and a recent bombardment of negative news amplified the power of the bears as well. Recent analyses that I've come across doesn't show any enthusiasm about any rises but shows that the few weeks are gloomy and full of bull traps. I'd be cautious on buying in whenever there's rapid increase and just try to hold my horses whenever something I feel isn't right, especially at the price in the midst of bad news.

It will be extremely hard to predict how, there are so many unpredictable event that keep on coming, many people expect March is going to be the start of the BTC healing and it did happen, but not for a long time, I think we will stick at this situation for a while, I think the BTC price will heal back on June or July, for March and April we will see roller coaster price

Your guess is as good as mine as Bitcoin has an unpredictable habit of going up and going down. Now, I guess there are some patterns that are already established and those can be good basis for knowing what can happen next. I can also sense that Bitcoin will not be able to overcome its bearish mood soon...maybe by the start of the 3rd quarter we can see it jump into $15K level. The thing is that when Bitcoin can be able to reach at least $12K many holders would let go of their holdings which in effect will pull down the price...this has been a pattern lately.

it seems that it is not very convincing because if the next 1-2 months there is no good news for bitcoin from various countries it is definitely bitcoin prices will be difficult to rise but if there is good news then bitcoin prices will be easy to ride praying just hope there is good news from bitcoin in order to make the price of bitcoin become expensive again.

People are expecting that the past year will be repeated from the start of this year,but for now we see that it is too difficult to hold above 10k$ level and almost impossible to break 12k$.Depending on the development of the situation in various countries of the world regarding regulation of cryptocurrency and some extra surprises in the form of MtGox,we may stay in bear market whole year or just few months.

It seems to me that such a situation might take 2-3 months at least,and that any upward trajectory is still not in sight.Some may not look good in all this,but on the other side it is good for people who want to join crypto train and for those who want to buy "cheap" coins.

You need to be prepared for the bear market to last a lot longer than that, it could last as long as you are stating but it could also last for years this is a reality many a of us do to not want to face but we need to be very direct that is a possibility and we need to be ready for it in the case that is the scenario that we are facing, so make sure to not sell your coins for any reason except an emergency keep them no matter what and if you have the money get even more bitcoin do it we know bitcoin is going to grow in the long term we just do not know when it's going to happen in the short term.

we need a break, every forum is flooded with threads about prices and their forecasts and many questions, we need to rest and not talk about the price for a while, until recently I saw options for the fall of the bitcoin price for  $500. this is already scary, imagine that I come with my good mood and read 10 post and instead of laughing with something funny I leave here sad and panic

so make sure to not sell your coins for any reason except an emergency keep them

Bear market is ok for me as long as it doesn’t affect much my portfolio and besides I can’t do anything about it. We might see this thing but better not to panic. Always think about the good things of bitcoin, it can bounce back but we need more time for that.

In my own honest opinion this year would be going to establish a much strong support and accumulation we are in year of regulations so we can expect a pump and dump along with the Fuds and good news for the markrt because of this regulations talks and procedures.

Currently the market is very unpredictable because the market isn't working properly as we know some whales are still manipulating by selling their coins at Mt Gox a few days ago, of course the bitcoin price collapsed, the current bitcoin price is $ 8,665 Looks like today they has resell.

March was just started and this is the first quarter of it. and we can't really call it a "bear market" yet. it is a weird sideways market in my opinion and nobody can predict where the price is going to go it keeps jumping up and down and doing nothing else.

right now thanks to the big FUD that has been going around the "down" part is getting a little bigger than it should have been.

Yes, the reason why a lot of people get panicking is because they conclude a lot even at the slightest and little changes in bitcoin movement. The fact that the market is down now does not mean it will remain as that, and over time, things can change at any time, which makes the idea of speculating that we are going to remain in a bear market for a long time like the OP said is totally absurd.

Really I am not expecting much from bitcoins myself anytime soon, but it is good for accumulation anyway pending when the flight will eventually take off. From the look of things, we still have a lot of huge resistance ahead of us and we may keep bouncing back down from there several times, so let's see how it goes, but for now, I am still looking forward to what happens next with this our push back into the down channel.

this is my prediction too because from the January until now, the price is not giving a good price and the price it seems to go down although it will back to the price before. I only think that we still have 9 months before the end of this year and I think that before this year ends, bitcoin price will be back to increase and it might break $19k and will increase higher.

Well for me this is right,for another two months we will see same movements.more on red days and lucky if seeing greens for even a week..the correction must bfinished first before the right growth revealed.this happens many times before but this kind isnt normal,3 red flood in just a week.thats why I stopped checking price now,i dont wanna be stressed

chances are it will happen if there is good news from bitcoin from some countries but if still there is no good news from bitcoin then it seems bitcoin price will be hard to go up again.

Yah. There are chances bitcoin and other crypto currencies' value fall down. Every day we hear news on adaption or alteration. There is an equality in both if you look at. This is the reason you can see the bitcoin value being stable from $8500 to $9500. As per the history, after every correction there is a huge hike. So the value of bitcoin and other crypto currencies should start resuming back. Wish countries understand the need of crypto currencies to develop their countries and start accepting. Let’s hope so.

My first prediction was that we would be around 25k by the end of this month.

But now that we have this Mt.Gox problem, we can be going sideways until October, or even for the entire year.

That's why we need to go long. It will take time until all those coins are dumped.

Every year,the price of bitcoin is reduced to low value in March and April.This is happening now,so no need to boughter about it.To be independent of bitcoin price ,you have to inverse the unwanted money in bitcoin.It may be your savings from your salary or your long term saving money.

Guessing what the price of Bitcoin is going to be in 2 months is just wild speculation. Looking at the charts from last year, the market was moving sideways till May, and everything started really booming then. If things repeat, then we can expect something similar this year, but its really impossible to say. Every year could be different.

Most especially when we are just starting the year. I would not blame anyone though since we are in the speculation thread but there are just sometimes that some speculations are not sound enough as they are not backed with any fundamentals. Anything can happen at any time, so expecting anything from the market like you said, at a particular point in time, is totally unreasonable. If the time comes, we will get to see what happens next.
