Some info from their whitepaper for new users.

The platform will be powered by Ethereum based ERC20 utility token named Vernam
Token (VRN), which will be used by clients, insurers, brokers and third parties. Each
new insurance contract, signed on the Vernam platform will be denominated in VRN.
Tokenizing the platform will allow the unique identification of customers and assets,
and the transfer of this information through the blockchain to insurers as an
unalterable digital record.

What kind of wallet do i need  have to be able to store Vernam tokens?

You should be able to store VRN in any erc-20 compatible wallet, like MEW, Ledger Nano...

There should be some kind of a tutorial that explains how to add VRN to MEW or Ledger.Did anyone shared this already?

I really do not understand why the existing intermediaries take such commissions? I read in white paper that it can be up to 30%. A real, routine work there for 5 minutes. For example in car insurance

Cheesy This is not about you understanding it, it's about supply and demand and if they can charge so much why shouldn't they? Now when alternatives come to market things will change.

Exactly, they just tend to take as much money as possible as everyone else does Cheesy We don't like when we are the sheep, but we love when sheep come to us for a haircut Cheesy

Grin Grin We should perceive high prices always as an opportunity for technology or solutions that make those prices lower. That's what Vernam is doing.

Insurance sort of is now entering the blockchain. Your project have a lot of competitors specially PolicyPal which ended their ICO reaching the hardcapped. So what advantage using your platform than PolicyPal?

Exactly, lower prices attract more people and you make as much as money and in most cases even more money then before and we get better tech along with it.That's why Vernam is a win-win Cheesy

Most likely to give people time to learn about Vernam and get more investors that way, which is not bad at all if you ask me.

Based on what i've read on the WP, they are going to be targeting countries where the brokers have the highest commissions. And the advantage that really impressed  me much is that they will be acting as a licensed broker, meaning they can offer actual insurance and save the customer the money from the commission.

Isnt that a huge gap between presale and main sale?

Maybe they are taking more time to do proper marketing before the main sale

I personally have done a lot of digging on Vernam and I am yet to find any major red flag that would make me give up on investing in their ICO. Knowing their project mission/vision and how much the core members of the team have sacrificed to build everything from the ground up gives me more hope about the company as a whole.

KYC is a positive thing, crypto can use a bit of regulation and order.

Would be nice if someone from the team could explain the reasons behind this decision. Most likely is to consolidate some aspects of the project before ICO.
