Thereafter, this month you can expect the new and improved ANN thread (we will just update the images and text here), new whitepaper and roadmap containing our plans and use cases for our coin and network of masternodes.

THE COIN SWAP IS NOW COMPLETE!

No more NORT coins will be swapped onto the new chain - we have 250,000 NORT coins left over that we will now have the community vote on how much to burn and keep

Here is a quick summary of what we will now begin to work on, since the swap is complete:

Short term focus (within this month)

 - Complete vote on burn / marketing fund amounts
 - Update website and ANN
 - Release the new whitepaper and roadmap
 - Release small wallet updates / improvements
 - Update documentation: Masternode and staking guides
 
Mid term focus (within the next 1 - 3 months)

 - Build relationships with social media ambassadors and YouTubers
 - Start the development of use cases outlined in the roadmap
 - Possible expansion of the team to include some members that have expertise in other areas
 - Broadening our community through bounties, airdrops and other marketing techniques
 - Applying for free listings / community vote listings on exchanges
 - Saving funds for Cryptopia / CoinExchange.io
 - Release Android / iOS / web wallets

More details to come in the roadmap and whitepaper soon - just wanted to give you guys a summary of what to expect

The following votes were held in Discord this weekend:

VOTE 1: We have 250,000 coins recovered from the swap! We now need to decide what to do with them. We will run a series of votes after this one, depending on which direction you guys want to go. So, firstly, do you want us to burn coins - some, all, or a specific amount.

1 - YES, burn coins

2 - NO, keep them all

RESULT: 94 - 13 in favor of BURN

VOTE 2:

Now we need to vote on an amount between 50 - 100k for the team to keep for marketing and budget going forward. Choose!

VOTE 1 - Keep 50,000 NORT

VOTE 2 - Keep 75,000 NORT

VOTE 3 - Keep 100,000 NORT

After this vote, we will burn the remainder of the coins leftover from the swap and keep the allocated amount that the community has voted on to use for marketing and budget. A proposal will be drawn up and submitted to the community for approval shortly.

FINAL VOTE RESULTS

The final vote is closed. We will keep 100,000, the rest of the pre-mine will be sent to a burn address for now and the wallet.dat will be deleted. In a further code update will will blacklist this address and disable it from being able to spend on the network. Both addresses, the burn and the keep wallets will be made public on the block explorer. Thank you all for your votes and participation. In a few days we will submit a proposal to the community with how we intend to spend the funds, which will need a majority vote to be passed.

Mate Nort listed on cryptobridge exchange and it is the only exchange at the moment.You can go and start trading there.
