It may be possible, but taking into consideration the current market conditions I do not think this is the time to be that bullish about bitcoin, we are below $10,000 again and while the price slowly recovered today that is not enough of a sign to be that positive about the short term future of bitcoin, I do not have any kind of doubt about the long term future of bitcoin but right now things are not looking good.

I think we should not expect that in 2018, almost every crypto currency will show a rapid increase in its value. If the security does not improve in 2018, then it can negatively affect the course of the Crypto-currency. Or rather, on the course of each individual crypto currency. Although i really hope bitcoin can reach $ 50.000 this year. But i disagree with op statement I think this kind of calculation isn't true $ 1 trillion is the growth of kriptocurrency market as a whole "meaning not just bitcoin but also applies to altcoin".

You don't need to be "experts" if you are going to predict that bitcoin can go break $50,000 or it $1 Trillion marketcap, all you have to do is to "speculate".  Usually those so called experts have a lot of stakes in bitcoin. Maybe they are bag holders or have clients who have huge amounts of bitcoins. So I wouldn't be surprise for them to very bullish about it. Remember John McAfee's 1 Million prediction? Yes he did predict it because he wanted to influence his followers on twitter on anyone for that matter which will resulted a very huge financial gains for him in the future. Let's see how it goes at the end of the year, its gonna be a hit or a miss. Just don't put too much expectations, so that you won't be disappointed at the end.

I hope so. But as what happening right now, I think cryptocurrency is on its bearish season and the $1 trillion for this year will not come true and 50k USD for BTC will impossible to happen wether it said already by the experts. We are now in the last period of quarter 1 but still the price of bitcoin does not grow up. Currently the bitcoin price is under $ 10,000 and the chances for that spike will be at $ 20,000.

Hitting $1t is far from reality because of the supply of Bitcoin but then again there is no impossible in crypto currency that is why we have to hope for the best and expect for the worse.
