Hi Guys,

Is it possible to trace stolen bitcoins? Also, looking for a bitcoin security expert of some sort, to consult on building a secure hot wallet. Any help would be much appreciated.

Tracing bitcoins is easy, just look at the transactions on the blockchain.

Getting them back, however, is pretty much impossible.

Probably not. Can you post the address?

It makes no sense for me to publicly post the address. Unless someone can specifically say how they can help.

There really isn't anything we can do. If the coins have been sent, they're gone unless you have the private key of the receiving address. If you want help finding out that address or where the coins went from there, that's easy to do, but that's pretty much it.

Hard to see how it would hurt you.  And it would help people here verify and look into your problem.  Although, like most people have said, getting back stolen bitcoins seems like a long odds at best.
