Because it is a first platform to push with smart contracts and it has many running nodes. Because it's infrastructure is being built and simply because many projects go there to run their ICOs and if they implement even smartcontracts then use case for ethereum grows more as you have to pay fees in ether. Although I won't go over negative things since you proposed best things.

What I like best about Ethereum isn't really working and needs to be scaled to have any relevance whatsoever. DAPPS are pretty sweet, but since they aren't functional for a large user base that is kind of a bummer .

Although it does have its differences, on the surface at least, Ethereum functions as a cryptocurrency much like most others. Ethereum's token, "Ether," works in a similar manner to bitcoin. You can buy and sell it, with confirmations for transactions handled over the blockchain. It's entirely decentralized, with no banks providing the confirmations needed to validate transactions. Instead, "miners" around the world fulfill that role by running powerful computational algorithms. Completing them rewards Ether, much like mining bitcoin rewards bitcoin.

Bitcoin may have sidechains and lightning networks, but both require deep protocol changes that can take a very long time to work.

Ethereum is my second preferred crypto currency after Bitcoin. It is indeed different and having very promising potential. The coin itself is very valuable and have the price going up, but also the smart contract feature is very attractive and useful, that's why the demand for ETH keep increasing with time, since it is needed for creating tokens and investing in ICO projects.

Ethereum has one of the worst ways to create smart contracts and it has a collection of the worst smart contracts created on it.
the future of ICOs will be very dark in  general because of the way they are.
and finally it is not easy to move at all. there are far easier to use, move,... coins out there.

the only thing that i like about ETH and i think everyone else is the same even if they don't admit it, is the fact that it has very good pumps which makes it profitable at times of pumping.

I agree on to that, also ETH has ERC-20 which can receive tokens that ICO gives throughout their campaigns. I also want to add the security features of ETH...it maybe not so secure as long as you have backup codes/files for your wallet.

The big factor that attracts me to Ethereum is the possibility of dream mobility, what do mean? Ethereum one of my favorite cryptos. The most important thing is the programming possibilities that Ethereum gives to people. The possibility that different projects in one network can implement their schemes of using block technologies is an essential difference from bitcoin and many other digital currencies. yes, we only see but from here also we can judge how eth work. eth prices have never dropped dramatically since many are using eth as ico but that's just my guess.

I at eth most like the convenience and profitability in its mining. I've never bought eth. I mine these coins and trade them on the cryptocurrency exchange. I like it. I'm surprised someone says they like the fact that this coin is based on smart contracts. It seems to me that very few people are interested in the technical aspects of cryptocurrencies.

If some bad people come to start scam ICO using these ethereum smart contract then it do not mean that we have to blame the ethereum platform. Bad and good people are everywhere so we have to discourage the scam ICOs using these ethereum smart contract but do not have to blame this platform.

The other point that we can make a good amount of money with its pumps and dumps then it is right we can earn a good profit from these fluctuations in the price.

Yes, you are right. many advantages possessed by ethereum, ethereum is very different from other coins, that is why ethereum can stick tightly to the king of coins, the bitcoin.
