Hi I'm looking to sell some bitcoins in New Zealand. I did do a sale with mtGox about 3 weeks ago now and they still haven't paid!! They said they've got a backlog but I think it might be quite a big backlog. So I was thinking of trying BitNZ https://bitnz.com does anyone know if they're reliable and payout as promised?

Thanks

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Yeah i have to say i'm really disappointed with mtgox. They were quick to reply when i emailed but it's not done much to get the money in to my account Sad

You should be watching this thread on Gox https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=179586.0  some people are waiting 3+ months for withdraw. Theyre terrible and if you have money/btc in there, withdraw it in form of BTC and sell it elsewhere.

BitNZ last I checked seemed fine, do a forum search on them. I think Coinjar.io accept NZD deposits and withdrawals though, check it out, theyre a professional operation.

I've heard bitnz is good, but a bit laid back. Give them a shot!

Check out BitcoinATMTalk - https://bitcoinatmtalk.com

They're good. Deposits usually take 1 or 2 business days to appear, and withdrawals from 1-4 days. Not a lot of volume on there though. I saw a "wall" of 100 btc on there the other day and nearly fell off my seat. That's close to the volume you would see in a week  Cheesy

great thanks for the advice. I cancelled my withdrawal from mtgox i'm just hoping to get a good price to buy my coins back now.

I've responded to a couple of people on localbitcoins. It's a really good idea for a website. Failing all that bitNZ it is. Thanks for letting me know it's good Smiley
