I think it's impossible for Bitcoin to be $ 3,000. maybe Bitcoin may fall to around 7000 dollars but I do not believe that it will fall below 7000.

6k is minimum for bitcoin as mining is not worth it if the price will go lower than 6k usd. So there is no chance to go down to 3k. Mining is quite important in bitcoin price.
Mining cost doesn't dictate the price. Below 6k, mining becomes less profitable than buying BTC since the mining cost was estimated to be around 5300$, but that doesn't mean it can't go below that level. It just means that if we go below 6k, BTC mining will no longer be profitable at the current hashrate, and miners will move on to something else, or just stop mining crypto all together. |

The price of BTC will fall again because MTGox still haven't sold all their BTC. I hope they'll do it step-by-step, otherwise the market can fall even more than now. |

It seems impossible that bitcoin will go down to 3k $. Most likely it will to go down to near it's last support.
Last year in august, bitcoin had also take a dive from 6k $ to 3k $. 2.7k $ was the support when I had checked it. During that time I had my first investment in crypto when I bought 20$ of bitcoin at price 3k $. Then after a few months I had gained 5x.

Whatever the result of this downfall I'm still hoping that this is good to the entire crypto currency as we will see another chapter of this downfall. A lot of supports needed to rise this again as a chance to buy at cheap price then hold until it goes up and get a good profits. |

For me its impossible to happen 'cause 3k is a hard fall of price and perhaps 7k is enough 'cause even though there are some banning reason or issues in bitcoin its really impossible to happen that the price will go back on that stage ,i think unless if all the bitcoin holders sell at the same time, maybe there's a chance. .

As i read comments and answers there's positive and negative. I should not worry now for in the first place i just invested the amount i afford to loose. If that happens it would be bad to cryptoguys but if it hits up to highest. Cryptoguys would be very happy. So let it happened what wpuld happen.

BTC hit 3k usd? I think it will not happen because today the price of bitcoin is almost 10k usd, it is very impossible that bitcoin will dump at a very low price.

Well yeah, of course it is possible for BTC to fall to 3k or even under. I personally think BTC will dip to 4-5k, there are whales who have bags of BTC from the time it was cents or dollars worth. They would still make mad money even if BTC falls under 3k.
Also, MT Gox trustee has still 160k BTC left.

If btc will hit 3k so thats the time i buy more btc. Big investment more profits. I will hold that at least 3 years. Great news for new btc investors who cannot afford to buy btc now because of high price.

I know that that is possible but have you also can look at the other factors that also influence the price of bitcoin and how volatile bitcoin is and how difficult it is for any one to predict it price. But one thing for sure is bitcoin will reach the higher price this year even more then last year as for me.
