Bitcoin Faucet...then I started mining the old fashion way...cpu...

Hardforks aren't that hard. It’s getting others to use them that's hard.

OP you should make this a poll. Could be really interesting.

These could be the choices:

  • online exchange
  • personal exchange
  • mining
  • faucet
  • loan
  • friend

Somebody offered me one as payment. I initially didn't take it. But then I decided I wanted it so I came back later. And he was nice enough to still do the deal, even though the BTC price had gone somewhat upward Smiley

Solo mining a block with my quadcore cpu.
Too bad I spent almost all 50 coins to Bitcoin lottery or something like that.

Well, early adopter issues I guess...

I'd buy that for a dollar bitcoin!

read about it in an online magazine 2011 about mtgox. i took some cash and sent it to tokyo. had no clue, had no one to talk about it, didn´t know this forum. got 100 btc just before bubble. after 2011 bubble and mtgox got hacked i couldn´t access my account anymore and thought this was a scam and i was stupid enough to throw money in. i erased everything, forgot all about it.
turned into a believer when in march this year someone told me he quit his job and makes a living through mining bitcoin. bitcoin ?? that japanese scam ? he showed me the price. my 100 btc had almost 10 folded. dammned, i had erased everything. mtgox customer service sorted it within 20 min.
