It's interesting to read such topics, everything is constantly repeating, only the market begins to fall, hamsters immediately appear and start screaming for the whole forum, SCAM scam scam, everything came to an end, the bubble burst and so on. And the most interesting is that they start selling coins at the bottom. And I know that it's good, because of them the market lives  Cool

Well this is what the insightful Tone Vays claims...

He claims that ETH, DASH, shit 99.5% of all the ALTS are scams and the only coin that will survive is Bitcoin.

So l guess we should all sell our Alts now!

Well what he say might be true. However to believe in something concrete evidence is needed or it is just his opnion which cannot be justify. From what i know altcoins make a lot of people rich no matter whether isit a scam or not. Again this is my opnion and what i heard you should do your own check to verify if you want to know more
If we are to consider the level at which a lot of traders move out of the alt market once there is a slight change on bitcoin can actually be worrisome and considering it simply means they cannot stand on their own and they always get dumped in a huge way is even more worrisome. Nevertheless, it is a new market and we cannot because of that consider all altcoins as a scam, which is totally way absurd.

I am buying altcoins i like this.
I think that's not true because I know altcoin can help the people's economy and if altcoin is a scam show proof that altcoin scam, then this is the right time to invest long-term because I do not know when bitcoin will return stable

No not at all, because many people who uses alt coins are miners, yes it can be scam but not all alt coins, but few of it is scam.

Any all encompassing claims are usually too extreme... "All" is definitely over the top.

I agree that many Alt Coins does not really serve the intended purpose or are just scams playing money games, but at the same time there are many legit Alt Coins that gives legit value to the world!

That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. There are so many alts that are amazing. BTC is old and will soon be obsolete and surpassed by alts. Just like the first computers. Too many alts have faster transaction times and cheaper fees. Why would anyone want to buy BTC anymore with better alternatives?  Huh

I know many projects that are not scams. The price may be too high but that's not something to hold dev teams to be guilty.

There are a lot of bitcoin investors and bitcoin members that already proved bitcoin and other altcoins are real because they themselves experienced firsthand the fruit of their labor. I believe there are some altcoins that are scams, not only altcoins but as well as the people behind it. I guess we just have to research first about that certain altcoin and distinguish if it's a scam or not before we invest.

There are several analysts in this field and all of them build their opinion based on their OWN experience and background. But you can't make them responsible for your decisions and  unquestioningly follow their advices. In my opinion not all altcoins are scam and we will make sure in it after this strong fall.

well, you can learn those coins to figure out whether they are a scam or not. Do not trust anyone because all they want is to gain the advantages to themselves. Selling altcoins can only result in a loss. I have experienced the cryptocurrency for months and I know that all altcoins have their strengths and weakness

Altcoins are one of Bitcoins use cases as most alts are tied to Bitcoin. Saying that all alts are a scam is like saying that every social media improvement after Myspace like Facebook and Instagram are a scam too. Alts are what got alot of people into crypto in the first place as Bitcoin has been at least $100 a coin for the past 5 years.

Let me know why you say so, it's not true
There is a lot of scams, that is why he thinks that most ICO's are not going to make any money. Bitcoin and legit coins is the coins to invest in..the other coins are junk.

Cryptoworld is so young so it is hardly can be told right now whether all alt coins are scam or not. Personally, I take any project announced as a betting or gambling network with a grain of salt.
Actually, at any point of ICO a team may decide to abort it and run away with the money so it is really only up to them.

I do wonder why mention betting or gambling? Why do you think the notion of betting or gambling make it more likely for it to be a scam?
I'm asking since we released dueltoken (https://icoholder.com/en/dueltoken-io-20170) and would like to hear your thoughts on that. Although we are not aiming for a 'casino' kind of betting. We actually believe (and noticed from experience) that betting a small amount in any game between friends makes a game much more fun (ever played poker with no stake?).

As for me, the first feature of a possible skam is the promising of guaranteed returns. I have seen lots of betting or gambling ICO going down.
The most recent example is this game failed to collect the prize fund.
Another example of not going well lottery ICO.
Here is a betting ICO - the ANN tread. Its tread has got an amazing number of pages - 3! - since the last December. Why does anyone have no interest in it?
I guess you see my point

Nice FUD by the way I don't what your intention to spread that fake news here. There's a lot of new comers here what if they believe you even what you are saying are not true and they on lose on their trades. Are you happy with that?

It can be thought of as a sub-currency deception. but I know many winners of money through sub-currencies. I think it is necessary to investigate.  Embarrassed

Not everything, but exactly more than half that's for sure. Think where to invest.
