I do watch sometimes Tone Vays but I cannot remember him calling ETH to be shit, if he does so I cannot agree with him because Bitcoin and ETH are very different things, I can agree that after lightning network implementation  there will be no use for many cryptocurrencies that positions themselves only as virtual money.

I personally think altcoin will never scam if they have a team that is very solid and very experienced in the world of digital currency, and the price of altcoin down because the condition of bitcoin prices also fell, if you want altcoin prices to rise then bitcoin also have to rise in price.

I don't agree with your statement, and the person who told that all altcoins are only scams. Maybe some altcoins were scam and have run away after raising funds through ICO. But that does not mean all altcoins are fraud. Every thing has two sides, good and bad. So what you need to move on is become skeptic.

The truth is that many altcoins out there that are scams, but there are also significant amount of altcoins that are not scams but simply never get the support of the community and they end up failing in their purposes, only a very low number of altcoins are able to reach any kind of significant success but that number is big enough that if you invest in cryptocurrencies for a long time you could make a fortune by just choosing the right coin.
