I don't think all altcoins are scam. Some of the new altcoins that are coming up are scam but it doesn't mean all of them are scam. You just have to be careful when buting the altcoins but don't panic and sell what you have.

Nah. Just because bitcoin came first that does not mean it's the legit coin, really depends on the project itself and the use case of such. Alt coins for me is better as it gives me faster tx and sometimes cheaper tx than bitcoin so it gives me an alternative coin to pay, and some ALT are better than BTC.

In reality cryptocurrencies incounter bad amages because of this greed people who try to use the name of cryptocurrencies for thier own personal interest. But not all altcoins are scammed. Their are some altcoins are good and legits but it depends the user's on how they choose the right altcoins.

Well there might be the case that some of the alts are just a scam, I have this situation that I have invested in XMRG which can be same with XMR they have both listed in the coinmarketcap, but a few weeks later, I have heard that it was just a scam project.. There are some altcoins which is legit. The only difference of bitcoin to other coins out there is because btc has the biggest value among altcoins and the rest is just starting to rise up.
