sometimes positive thinking isn't helping at all. It is helpful because it gives us confidence but there are certain situations that being too confident won't help at all. Just like when we are gambling, it is okay to be confident because it will inspire you to play good and will be helpful in accepting loss. Yes i agree that sometimes luck also affects for you to win in gambling but i guess not in all aspects. Basing on my own experienced, positive thinking leads me to win most of the time since i was able to focused on the game that i’ve been played. And most importantly is your strategy especially when you are skilled enough with your chosen game. I usually played poker and being strategic is a must, well i think all table games. Yes it can affect because you will have clear mind and you can decide correctly if you are positive. But its still not an assurance that you will win but it will help you a lot.
