Positive thinking has actually no effect on the outcomes of the game. If the player was destined to face failure, no matter how great an optimist he is, he would still get defeated in the game. The only good that a gambler can earn out of this attitude of staying positive is, he would be able to bear the loss and might also not think about recovering the gone amount. The thing is, you tend to make better decisions when you're confident and positive than when you're down and desperate. Fist of all, positive thinking invites positive vibes to a gambler or, just like what you have said a while ago, it is also applicable to other matters in life. Well, positive thinking is important but even more important is to be realistic and not get carried away with too much positivity. It may lead you too loose money you really can't afford to loose and still loose even more because (positively) you will be sure you can get what you already lost.

I've been told by my friends that one day he came to the gambling places and his feeling said that he can win a lot of money from a dice games. he said to me that his mind is full with confidence that he can win that money and he said that he's got a sign ( maybe it's like six sense ) that he will win the games. and yes, he really wins the games and with a lot of money but unfortunately, he became greedy and he wants more money from other games. so he tried to play slots which is the first time for him to play. he cannot stop his emotion and leaving the gambling places and finally, he lost all of his money. so from this lesson, although we have a positive thinking, sometimes it will affect our luck in gambling but if we cannot stop in that time and we forget that our luck cannot stay forever with us, we can lose our money.
